Zac, some people are meant to design, and some people simply aren't. I can see you getting really better if you keep at it, those are FANTASTIC for beginner signatures, I adore your signature too. Keep at it cause your designs hold lots of potential I think.

Sometimes I find really huge very HQ images, but they won't fit on the banner cause they're about 5 times bigger than I want them to be and then when I try to shrink it to make it fit on the banner, it turns very LQ and blurry.

Zac to find pictures, never use googleimages. Type in 'Lady Gaga fans' or 'Britney Spears fans' or whatever. And fansites pop up - most of them have HQ photoshoots in their galleries.
