I ****ing hated A levels, by far the ****tiest point in education.

Just practised test questions from day 1. Especially in psychology. Never actually learnt anything about the subjects

my biggest regret is not trying harder in school... you just dont believe it when people say it to you in school

however, I dont think i'd be where I am now if I didnt do badly at school. I'm now a teaching assistant and the past two weeks have been two of the best in my life. I have absolutely loved it.

its sad because I was only at the school for 2 weeks... but they want me to work there full time. It takes more or less an hour to get there though.

My tutor at college always said that A-levels would be the toughest exams you'd ever do and she was so right.

I put off going to uni for two years after I finished. I had to force myself to go, thinking if I didn't do it then I never would. Pretty much hated every minute of my first year and had to drag myself out of bed in the mornings but 2nd and 3rd have been great.

Glad I've done it now. At least it's out the way, I can't wait to get back to work though as daft as it sounds. I'm well and truly bored of education.

.....this is just your first year..?.. so you can make up the grades next year Doogle...I know many who have done that and got exactly the uni places they wanted...

Yeah I know it's not the end of the world and I have a shot but it's so disheartening when every module, both exam and coursework, were Cs and some were barely Cs. I'll look at some lower grade unis to apply for and hope for the best

It's so annoying my Spanish ability is assessed on one random speaking exam and a 2 and a half hour paper, when I could hold a basic conversation when locals when I visited Spain :/

..I do think language exams really aren't very good at all tbh and it's proven when you speak Spanish so well...I understand how disheartened you feel and I think everyone would feel the same but these results can be changed quite dramatically next year and at least it helps you know what your aims are for the year..and Doogle, whatever your final grades and whichever uni you choose with them, it will be the right uni for you and you won't feel disappointed or sad at all about it....because you'll just be enjoying it all so much...
