I resent the fact they weren't given a major final story that was fitting to the characters and tied up loose ends.

The scene itself was great though. Ronnie being killed saving Roxy is fitting too.

No one i know likes it apart from me irl too bar one

Moving to Essex and giving them a happy ending would have made more sense than what happened.

Being memorable isn't a good thing if the reason why it's memorable in the first place was because it was bad.

It was random and pointless. It would be like someone leaving and having their exit cut short by having a piano fall on them because the writers didn't know how to write them out properly. It's just lazy and sensationalist rather good storytelling.
