there was a noticeable gulf in quality between city and newcastle and that was after they played in searing heat in mid week

Fair enough.

MOTD is an iconic Show imo, I do remember the analysis from some of the pundits being wild though.

But tbf people like Stuart Pearce add to these kinds of Shows imo.

The refs are all over the place ..

It was a 50/50 to my mind but why don’t refs take a look at every penalty claim ?

There’s been quite a few clear cut penalties completely waived away by refs and not even checked .

Forest should have had one today as should Spurs when Martinez clearly hacked down Romero
