Lol. Trevor has produced loads of groups like The Human League, Frankie goes to Hollywood etc. Ian Brown was the lead singer with The Charlatans.

Robbie Williams is the male singer people would most like to be marooned on a desert island with, according to a poll.
The star, who is currently preparing to release his new album Reality Killed The Video Star, beat the likes of Liam Gallagher, Sir Paul McCartney and Mick Jagger to the top spot. Music royalty service PRS For Music polled over 1,000 people in the UK for the survey, which also saw Kylie Minogue topping the female category, NME reports. The top five males are: 1. Robbie Williams 2. Sir Paul McCartney 3. Mick Jagger 4. Eminem 5. Liam Gallagher The top five females are: 1. Kylie Minogue 2. Cheryl Cole 3. Leona Lewis 4. Madonna 5. Lady GaGa Digi Spy |

U.K. pop artist Robbie Williams has launched a music publishing company, Farrell Music, as the new home for all of his music publishing rights.
Williams' new and future material will now go through Farrell Music, including songs from his forthcoming album' "Reality Killed the Video Star," (Virgin/EMI) which is released on Nov. 9. The singer has partnered with independent music publisher Notting Hill Music, which has put in place a structure whereby Williams will be paid directly from collection societies on a global basis. Notting Hill Music will broker the relationships with collection societies and will provide administration services in return for a fee from Farrell Music. "Robbie Williams has been and remains one of the defining U.K. artists of our generation and we are honored to be helping him with the launch of his new music publishing company," said Andy McQueen, chairman of Notting Hill Music, in a statement. "This new agreement utilizes our experience and expertise in the music publishing field while giving Robbie complete ownership and control of his songs. We are looking forward to working with Robbie and his management team and feel sure that this new venture will be a big success." As Williams' existing copyrights revert to him, they will also go through Farrell Music. Universal Music Publishing Group currently represents Williams' copyrights up to 2007, following its acquisition of BMG Music Publishing three years ago. "I've always wanted my own publishing company... though it could make me broke beyond my wildest dreams," Williams said in a statement - a quip that refers to his "rich beyond my wildest dreams" remark after re-signing to EMI in October 2002. "This is yet another ground-breaking deal by Robbie Williams and it's what makes working with him so exciting," added the singer's managers David Enthoven and Tim Clark of London-based IE Music Pure Robbie |

It's been over three years since Robbie's last live show in the UK... and finally he's back for one night only as part of the BBC Electric Proms 2009, which takes place at Camden's Roundhouse in London from 20th – 24th October 2009.
Robbie will open Electric Proms on Tuesday 20th October, when he will be performing a very special set at the Camden Roundhouse featuring new material from his forthcoming album Reality Killed The Video Star, along with some classic tracks. The performance will be accompanied by a string section, horn section and full band in a show, all overseen by Musical Director Trevor Horn. “I’m looking forward to playing my new songs, working with Trevor Horn again and seeing how people react to what I’ve been doing" said Robbie. You could be there for his electrifying return! Tickets go on sale at 08:00 BST tomorrow morning, so set every alarm clock you've got and don't miss that wake up call. There are a limited number of tickets available for the show Camden's intimate Roundhouse, so early birds will still have to be very quick! Head over to the BBC's dedicated Robbie Williams Electric Proms page now to find out more about tickets... good luck! RW.com |
