I don't see it being a forgone conclusion that Archuleta will win.You've got to consider David Cook's never been in the bottom two either.

I'm sure Archuleta's looks help him gain votes but that's not the sole reason behind him doing so well.

^ Yea your right i guess. Cook seems to have a big fan base so it could go either way. But in the long run, i dont think either have the power to sustain. Previous AI winners have been better.

Yes the little puppet has the 'cute' looks (if you go for that type of thing ) but Cook has the unique raw talent and ability to reform songs and put turn them totally on their heads

I'v heard off it but never actually heard any songs off it. Tbh, im not a really big Cook fan but just prefer him to Archuleta.

David Cook might be better off not winning as he can go in own direction, most the winners seem to be manipulated into recording set songs rather than write their own.Kelly Clarkson managed to move away from that in her last album but even then the record bosses found a way of messing things around with the singles.
