Good rating last night but its not sustainable cos people only watched it for Alex's ejection.

Boycott the Davina interview with Alex.
I think it is safe to say that the majority of the British public have absolutely no interest in Alex's side of the story. We know that there is only one side and that is simply that she is a nasty piece of work that has frequently used threatening behaviour and her association with gangs to intimidate the other housemates. I think we can all safely assume that this is also the kind of threatening behaviour that she uses in 'real life' to anyone who dare confront her or anyone she simply dislikes. To watch the interview and give it the ratings will be playing into the hands of a mindless thug. We are all living in a country which is desperately trying to combat gang culture and its associated violent crimes and/or deaths that result as a consequence of this kind of glamorisation. To watch this interview would be a proxy endorsement of gang culture. We have all seen within the media how this culture is corrosive to our modern society. ‘Gangstas’ contribute nothing to this country, yet take far to much including the lives of naďve and often young members of the public. Alex is herself a mother, but has she stopped for one minute to think of all those mothers that have lost their own children due to the lawless attitude of so called gangsta style gang members? I think not! The best way to send a clear message of unanimous public disapproval to Alex and BB is to simply turn over our television sets to a different channel during the interview and not purchase any newspapers or magazines that advertise stories or interviews with Alex despite our natural curiosity. We can read the interview transcript on the website. This protest is mainly about reducing the national ratings for this interview to little or nothing. I for one am tired not to mention uninterested in hearing about her pathetic excuses and lies regarding her behaviour and associations with so called 'Gangsta' friends. Should she have a platform to spread her vicious diatribe? You decide! |

4.2 million is very good, Im so happy for Channel 4. The peak of 5.4 million was incredible. It was again affected by the football, it incresed over a million after the football finished.

I think it could get about 4.2 million tonight.
Hopefully the good ratings of last night will be the turning point in the series like fight night was for BB5. |

Another good thing for tonights shows is that the football match doesn't involve any of the big teams. So no real competition tonight

It only damages it when you look at the 5 minute breakdown eg. Last night it was about 3.4 million throughout and then in the last 15 minutes it went over 4 million and in the last 5 minutes it got to like 4.5 million or something. But the overall rating isnt that lower compared to when there is no competition on. |

On DS someone said that they saw on the BBC website that the interview was watched by 4.72 million which is unusually high.

This is from Inside BB:
The current BB9 series overnight average is: 3.4m (17%). At this stage last year, the BB8 series overnight average was: 3.6m (18%). Its doing good then. |

Bad ratings last night, looks like the good ratings of Thursday can't be sustained.
maybe this series is going to stay around the 3million mark |
