Leona Lewis is planning a two-year tour.

The ‘Bleeding Love’ singer wants to hit the road for her first ever solo tour as soon as she finishes recording her second album in Los Angeles.

She said: “I’ll be touring in 2010 and through to the year after. I just can’t wait.”

Leona – who shot to fame after winning UK TV talent show ‘The X Factor’ – is really excited about her upcoming LP, the follow-up to her hit 2007 debut ‘Spirit’.

The album is rumoured to be packed with several star guests, including Justin Timberlake, Ne-Yo and super-producer Timbaland, and Leona insists fans will be surprised by her new sound.

The 24-year-old star told Britain’s Daily Star newspaper: “I’ve recorded about 20 songs so far. I’d say it was about halfway there. I’ve been flying back and forth to Los Angeles to record it.

“The music has a different feel this time. It’s more of a live, heavier sound with a lot of real instruments. It’s something I’ll be able to perform live.”

Jordin Sparks – a former winner of talent show 'American Idol' – recently revealed she is keen to collaborate with Leona.

She previously said: "I want to work with Leona Lewis. I love her, she's so sweet! I'd love to do a nice powerful female duet with her. I think our voices would blend together really well.”

I am going to like it, unless it is full of Poppy Crap. I think she really needs to Have a lot of Ballads, Mixed in with some Kelly kind of stuff and a few Pop stuff

Leona's working with a producer called "Bangladesh".He did Beyonce's "Diva", Kelis's "Bossy" and Ciara's "Hotline".Everything else hes done is rap.
Oh and in other news a song Leona wrote is being released on some Japanese girls album.

LEONA LEWIS has only ever played a handful of live shows, but that's all about to change.


She is teaming up with TRAVIS PAYNE, the dance guru behind MICHAEL JACKSON's ill-fated comeback gigs, for a spectacular 14-month world tour.

And her record label have told her: "Money is no object."

Leona has been finalising the details of the elaborate gigs in between recording sessions for her second album in Los Angeles.

Her record label boss SIMON COWELL has taken a special interest in the arrangements for the shows, which will have a Garden Of Eden theme.

I'm told: "Everyone at SyCo is determined to transform Leona into a global touring powerhouse.

She has proved she can sell millions of records, so the next logical step is for her to pack out arenas.

Travis, who choreographed Jacko's This Is It shows, is on board.

And discussions have been held with FRANCO DRAGONE, the creative director of some of CELINE DION's biggest gigs.

"It's a case of hiring the best talent in the business at any cost to make sure the concerts will be one of the talking points of next year."


The shows will be staged from next summer onwards and will be very stylised.

The source added: "The Garden Of Eden theme will allow Leona to showcase two sides to her character: The angelic songbird, and the less well-behaved R&B vixen." But before the jaunt begins, Leona is going to undertake some serious training.

The source said: "Since Leona has played so few full-length concerts she's still quite a raw performer. And if she's going to pack out arenas she needs some polish.


"She's been having lessons with a confidence coach in a bid to improve her stage presence.

"It's a huge step to make from relative novice to playing to arenas of 20,000, so understandably she needs guidance."

I have every confidence my favourite X Factor champ will crack it in time.

The Yanks have got plenty of arena-packing pop stars including BEYONCE and CHRISTINA AGUILERA.

It's about time we Brits had a serious rival to them - and Leona's just the girl.

No,not yet.
"Bleeding Love" premiered exactly 1 month before its single release and look how much that sold in its first week.So I can imagine Syco will want to go with the exact same release stratagy & with the album being released 2 weeks later than Spirit the single probably wont premiere until late September,unless it leaks.
