Maybe you can start being a bit more adventurous by lightening it up, maybe adding a few colours or changing the tone, and then making the font a bit more exciting (adding a border to it etc) v. promising though, the actual blending is really good

second - the blending on the right taylor needs to be improved, you can see the huge white thing. also I'd recommend putting the two pictures a bit closer together and start experimenting really!


a few good beginners tips:
- layer -> duplicate layer -> gaussian blur (2.0) or motion blur (2.0 --> screen/overlay
- new layer --> dark blue --> screen (i think, hardly ever use that one but i remember i did use it when I was a beginner)
