anyway, yeah its been confirmed Scott storch has written a song called Second Chances, sounds like a ballad but who knows, but i wont beleive much news from the album yet

well there's one track I hope does not make the album. The guy is so dried up it;'s unreal, either he or her must be desperate for the other one because I know that he has ludicrously high standards if someone wants to work with him which I can't see Britney bothering to meet for the sake of someone who's recent work includes Brooke Hogan and Mel B.

was bored on youtube but found this:

the Gimme More video would of been so awsome if they kept to the origianal plot, apparently The Gimme More Video was suppose to be like the Film 'I know who killed me' starring Lindsay Lohan

And in the video she would of been kidnapped by the DARKER Britney, at least if they kept the original plot the video would of made sense as it barely does in the RELEASED version, does anyone know why they dropped the original idea? im guessing maybe it was down to to not turing up as that what she was like at the time

Britney funded the video herself, totally. Jive had no idea about it and had planned one for her, but she shot this herself with a un-heard of directed called Jake Sarfaty. When Jive seen the video that Britney planned to release, they were horrified and cut it to only the clips of her dancing round the pole and blonde Britney with her friends smiling.

I love+hate the Gimme More video.
I like the trashiness of it, but I hate how it's 4 minutes of her dancing around a pole with some Windows Movie Maker effects over the top. :\

i never knew she funded it herself though, seemed she really did want to make a proper comeback but it seems Jive RUINED yet AGAIN Britneys plans, i guess she just gave up with it, im 50/50 i want her to leave jive and go to another company BUT then again, it could backfire

Jive are just stupid! if the orignal concept have been released YES it would of maybe caused uproar BUT that woulf helped Gimme More get NO.1, im thinking of making a music video for my uni project i MAY try and do this orginal concept,

I think Jive are ridiculous but in the particular saved Britney from a massive disaster. The video is seedy and embarrassing enough as it is, I can only imagine how overly crude and vulgar the unedited version is, to have to have that video as a constant reminder of sucha tough time in her life and career, she's lucky they stepped in.

tbh I think that's why basically every track leaked before the release, because they weren't careful enough with her and left her in charge.

tbqh, Gimme More not going to #1 in the US wasn't a big deal, at all. Until Womanizer, Britney hadn't had a #1 song in the US since 10 years earlier with Baby One More Time. Gimme More peaked at #3 in the US, which was amazing and her highest charting single since Oops I Did It Again. 7 of Britney's singles have peaked in the top 10 in the U.S.
