Around 1.3m incl +1? It beat Eurotrash on C4 which surprised me

Yeah, perhaps it will hit 1.25M.

It's already up on last year first eviction which got 1.1M and BB15's first eviction which got 1.03M including +1

Not sure if it will beat last weeks though, but tbh last night was higher than the Friday before, and more exciting, so perhaps....

We also got BOTS rating for last night which is unusual.
570k excluding +1! Very strong, and actually higher than most spinoff shows on XF, BUT etc

I've never understood how BOTS does so well in ratings, it's really trash TV.

Brilliant rating for the eviction show considering everything on TV at the moment, and well deserved, it was really well put together, professional and very C4. For once it looks like they're learning and creating a better show. Still a few niggles I have such as Marcus telling the evicted HM to leave and those dramatic stairs, but on the whole it was very well done. Eviction interview was great, no trash crowd shouting and a longer interview for once (that set is gorgeous too). The reveal of the others was also really well done, no cheesy VTs, just a pure simple reveal, like they used to do.

I hope the show can continue to stay above 1m each night, at this stage it deserves to.

I guess BOTS outperforming the likes of The Xtra Factor just proves that the show really does have a solid fan base and, idk, bring back live feed or something

Wait 1.3 is considered good for BB nowadays? As this series is more of the standard than BB14, I was hoping for a few 2m+ officials how is that not realistic? Also if it gets similar coverage than it is now then hopefully some episodes will beat the launch in ratings which will be 10 years since that happened for regular BB.

1.3m would've been crap like 3-4 years ago, but BB15/16 lost quite a lot of the loyal viewership BB had on C5. It used to comfortably rate around 1.6m (BB12, BB13, and BB15 did) with the exception of BB14 which rated higher at 1.9m, but given how awful the last two years have been, they've lost quite a lot of viewers as a result and I can't see C5 gaining them back sadly. 1.3/1.4m now is pretty much what 1.6m was to BB12/BB13 at the time.

As long as it's not under a million, I'm happy. And tbh ratings don't reflect quality. I hope C5 just focus on producing a good series instead of being concerned about how it's rating - something they didn't do for BB16, hence why we got 4in4out etc
