jealousy is such a bad character trait

i don't care about the ''big celeb names'' as long as we get some interesting, likeable, fun bunch in our line up, it's a light hearted entertainment show after all

some of the bigger celeb names can be quite diva's (not everyone but still)

that's also because with strictly it's like the name of the show says is about the dancing, not about how famous a celeb is unlike shows like CBB or the jungle IAC where it is about the celebrities

and it's nice that BBC via strictly gives lesser famous celebs a chance to become more famous via the show of light hearted entertainment and a chance to learn some dancing and performing skills

well honestly last year Dr Ranj was a unknown signing but he appealed a lot to the younger target audience

i think for that reason to appeal more to the youth they had signed CBBC's Karim


i think this Viscountess Emma is signed to please the upper class strictly viewers

so producers do know what they are doing, and they probably want to create the most fun, diverse line up possible, people who appeal to most of the strictly viewer public


as for some music people rumoured we have

S Club 7's Tina Barrett, pop singer ella eyre, the vamps's bradley simpson among those rumoured

This is such an odd lineup. It’s not even a case of ‘who?’ because I know most of them, and the ones I don’t know I understand the reason for casting and their popularity ... but the only way I can describe it is random.

Idk I find it quite obvious that they’re attempting to cater to demographics, maybe more so than before. But even then, despite them all being relevant and to an extent popular to their field, there’s at least 5 people I could name who would be more relevant in each.

I’m probably not as excited to watch as I have been other years but it’s an interesting bunch and I look forward to see how the series goes.
