you put an image on top of another image and blend it in.the same way as you do when youre adding colours to your banners.

You erase a bit of the picture and slide one layer over the other (and yep it sounds very confusing, i found it confusing at first but its easy after a while)

Look you see in my kate nash picture you can't see where the pictures have been stuck together? Its because ive erased bits and slit the layers (pictures) together.

P_S dont use other pictures as coulours just paint the other layer and P_S your ar improving but you realy need to improve on you blending because no offence its awful.
