I wasn't watching but Rogan suggested at the end of the broadcast that maybe Punk should've gone amateur at first, then worked his way up.

Also it made me invested in Swagger. Who knew? (To continue the free agent line from Raw, Swagger ran after Corbin who attacked Crews and announced that he signed with SD after his contract with Raw expired.)

September 21st Episode:

* Samoa Joe kicks us off with a promo stating that NXT Champion Shinsuke Nakamura has a ton of injuries from his attack. Joe says Nakamura will be out 6-12 weeks, but he's not patient. He wants Nakamura or to have the title vacated. NXT General Manager William Regal comes out and says Joe is right, but he hasn't heard from Nakamura, so he'll clean up Joe's mess in time. Joe goes face to face with Regal and says if he doesn't get what he wants, the entire roster will look like Nakamura

* Austin Aries defeated Oney Lorcan in a great match. Aries cuts a promo saying he'd call out Hideo Itami but Hideo is a coward and he knows he won't show up. Hideo comes out but Aries retreats

* Billie Kay defeated Aliyah

* Cedric Alexander defeated Andrade "Cien" Almas in a fantastic match. The crowd popped big for Cedric. Cedric wins when he catches Andrade going for the running knees and hits the Lumbar Check. Andrade teases a turn after the match, but hugs Cedric and raises his hand

September 28th Episode:

* William Regal comes out to announce the return of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. The finals will be at Takeover: Toronto

* Tye Dillinger defeated Angelo Dawkins with the TyeBreaker. After the match, Bobby Roode interrupts and says the reason he came to NXT was to win the Dusty Classic, and he needs the perfect partner. Roode says them winning would be Perfectly Glorious. Tye shakes his hand and accepts

* The Ealy Brothers vs. NXT Tag Team Champions The Revival never happens as Samoa Joe comes out. He walks past the Revival and kills the Ealy Brothers. Revival walks away. Joe says the beatings will continue until Regal either gives him Shinsuke or gives him his NXT Title

* Ember Moon defeated Mandy Rose in a quick match

* The Authors of Pain defeated two local competitors. Paul Ellering finally speaks and says pain is coming and right now, that's all we need to know

* NXT Women's Champion Asuka taps out Liv Morgan in a quick squash with an armbar. Asuka is interviewed after the match and says no one is ready for her

* Hideo Itami defeated Lince Dorado in a good match. After the match, Austin Aries comes out of the crowd and attacks Itami, but flees when Itami turns the tables

October 5th Episode:

* The Authors of Pain defeated The Bollywood Boyz in a first round match of the Dusty Classic

* Rich Swann defeated Patrick Clark in a fun match. Patrick has new, very flamboyant gimmick and outfit -- puffy shirt, suit coat, glitter headband, whole nine yards. Swann wins with a cartwheel into a moonsault

* Peyton Royce defeated Danielle Kamella. Peyton has new gear and was accompanied to the ring by Billie Kay, but still does the flower entrance. This was an okay match, but nothing special. Peyton wins with a Perfectplex out of nowhere

* Dan Matha comes out for a match but Samoa Joe comes out and kills him. He cuts a promo -- "tick, tock, who will be the next to get his head rocked?" Refers to Matha as Regal's golden boy blue chipper. Repeats his ultimatum for Regal and tells him he has a week or he'll escalate things

* NXT Tag Team Champions The Revival defeated Cedric Alexander and Andrade "Cien" Almas in a first round Dusty Classic match. Great match. Revival pins Cedric with the Shatter Machine. Andrade attacks Cedric after the match and destroys him

October 12th Episode:

* SAnitY defeated Bobby Roode and Tye Dillinger in a first round Dusty Classic match. Roode walked out on Tye as soon as the beating began. SAnitY is Alexander Wolfe & Sawyer Fulton, accompanied by a masked man/woman. The female attacks Tye and reveals herself as Nikki Storm, and the masked leader is Eric Young

* Billie Kay defeated Liv Morgan after Peyton grabbed Liv's leg for the distraction

* TM-61 defeated Tino Sabbatelli and Riddick Moss in a first round Dusty Classic match. Fun match

* Blake vs. Murphy gets underway and was fun for what it was, then Samoa Joe runs in and murders both guys. He calls for Regal saying time is up. NXT Champion Shinsuke Nakamura's music hits and he comes out in a neck brace. He takes of the brace and charges the ring. A wild brawl ensues that ends with Shinsuke hitting the Kinshasa on a security guy, getting jumped by Joe again, but then brawling back to the ring, where Nakamura hits Joe with a Kinshasa to end the show

Man. NXT was off the charts fun a couple days ago, sorry for not posting this sooner. Crowd was into the show the whole night, it was fun seeing guys that are usually jobbers on NXT TV show off personality like Tino Sabbatelli and Riddick Moss.

The show opened with Rich Swann vs Tino, Swann was obviously the face, Tino seems to have some rich guy gimmick, dominated the first part of the match as a cocky heel, intentionally working slow, taunting Swann by doing pushups. Rich Swann would get the win with a standing moonsault. Rich's theme is pretty good, crowd was chanting "Can You Handle This?" through the match (and there was a little all night long chant too)

2nd match was Daria Berenato (From Tough Enough) vs Peyton Royce (who came back from injury this week), Daria needs a bit more polishing with her moveset since she's using an MMA gimmick, used a spear as a signature, for her finisher she took off her gloves, gave Royce a couple of stiff punches and hit her in the head with a roundhouse kick for the win.

3rd match was Riddick Moss vs "Perfect 10" Tye Dillinger, Before the match, Riddick Moss cut a promo on the crowd which got good heat as a heel. It was about how he should be on NXT every week, Des Moines is an awful town, and he's not a zero after a guy in the crowd started chanting it which got the whole crowd chanting it. Tye was obviously over when he came out, before the match got started, the ref took Tye's 10 sign, then Tye took out an even smaller 10 sign, Moss was livid, Ref took away that sign, Then Tye took out an even SMALLER one, ref took that one and the match got off, it was actually a good match for what it was. Tye won with his exposed knee neckbreaker. Tye of course was incredibly OVER.

4th Match was Hideo Itami vs Austin Aries, it was a great way to end the first half. Both guys were over, Aries played chicken**** in the first half of the match and Itami mocked him for it. It was back and forth but Itami won with the GTS. Show went to intermission

After intermission,We had the Revival (In a heel promo before the match, they called Iowa, Oklahoma and msipronounced Des in Des Moines like Dez when it's actually De, vs TM61+,for the tag team titles The Revival got alot of heat, pretty long hot tag, match was back and forth and got pretty chaotic at the end but Revival won by rollup (because they're the revival)

Next was Asuka vs Ember Moon for the Women's title, match started off with a shoulders locking and a dueling chant, adults were mainly for Asuka, kids (there were a few) were for Ember. It was going back and forth throughout the match. Asuka had alot of good submission holds in, including an ankle lock. Match ended with Ember calling for the O Face but Asuka countering with a Knee to the face on the way down (it was a cool counter, It was like a GTS but without the fireman's carry position), and then Asuka locking in the Asuka lock for the win.

Main Event was No Way Jose/Nakamura vs Roode/Joe. Everyone was OVER. Crowd was singing everyone's themes but Joe's, Singing just Nakamura's theme was beautiful. First 4 minutes of the match was just the crowd chanting for everyone in the match, Roode tagged Joe in, after a lockup with Jose at the start, leading to Jose tagging in Nakamura, so Joe tagged Roode back in. As the match went on, Roode and Joe had the upper hand for a bit, there was a spot where while the ref was telling Nakamura to stay in his corner, Joe was choking Jose with the tag rope while the ref wasn't looking. Match's ending was Jose giving a Thesz Press to Joe by jumping off the apron while Nakamura hit a Kinsasha on Roode for the win.

Nakamura did a post match interview thanking everyone for coming out and the show ended. Not even a couple minutes later, Drake Wuertz was out with a wrench taking down the ring with an older guy to take everything off to Omaha.

If NXT is in your area go to it, you won't regret it.

Raw tonight!

The Cruiserweight division debuts and Emma is scheduled to maybe return - I hope so!

Heel Emma is amazing, push her to the stars and get Dana back with her (where she fitted right in in NXT).

It was about a crowd of at least 1000, the venue was a convention hall that felt like a HS gym.

Pretty much the actual seats and ring took up just a 3rd. the rest was open space or a t shirt shop in the corner.

Along with Emma possibly returning (worked as a special guest ref this weekend for a 6 woman match, Charlotte/Dana/Nia Jax vs Sasha/Bayley/Alicia Fox), Paige's brother reports that Paige's returning to work this week too.

Along with the CWs (TJ Perkins (Won the CWC and the CW Championship With it), Gran Metalik, THE Brian Kendrick, Rich Swann, Cedric Alexander, Lince Dorado, and Noam Dar) there's a cage above the ring and Rollins is facing Rusev as punishment for interfering in last week's main event.

Word is that Sasha vs Charlotte will be inside the Cell at HiaC in 3 weeks after mainn eventing Raw last night

I hope so! These women should be in all match stipulations, cage, ladder, TLC, they're too good not to. Great match last night.

At the next Mania I would love to see a Ladder match for the Smackdown Women's title like they do with the IC title at Mania now. Could be awesome.

Finally what the hell is with Emma's repackage? People are not happy, Evil Emma was perfect, "Emmalina"!? Seriously?

Can´t see this working. This would be her third try and therefore it would have to be phenomenal to succeed. At the moment it doesn´t look like it will.

I see her being released come next summer.
