On tonight's edition of ECW on SyFy, Vince McMahon announced that ECW will finish up in three weeks and will be replaced by the next evolution of the WWE.
The final episode of ECW on SyFy airs on March 23rd, with the debut of "WWE NXT" to air on March 2nd. The episode will likely be taped that evening from Wichita, Kansas. WWE has registered the trademark NXT, for "the production and exhibition of professional wrestling events rendered live and through the media of television" Sources within WWE that the ECW show will be re-branded as WWE NXT, with NXT standing for next generation. |

..it should be in Entertainment (and even then that it takes a stretch of the imagination to think of it as such).
Sport is defined as a competitive activity not a show where the outcome is planned out. I'll accept that they are physically fit but they are not sportmen, they are showmen. Do you know who's going to win Summerslam? Find the right guy and he'll tell you. I don't want to see wrestling anywhere near football, to soil it by it being categorized with it. It should be next to Got To Dance if anything. So wrestling fans, take your big foam glove and your baby oiled up nancy boys and go pesker your own kind on another forum and let the big boys chat about football.
