I pretty much wake up fine most days Ammi....so I'm lucky like that. It's about 3pm that it hits me and I need a nap At least it's Saturday though and you don't have to rush off anywhere So you can be dopey on a Saturday- its allowed

..yeah I pretty much wake up like that as well Annie, I'm very much a morning person and kind of flake at around 8pm or even earlier..but the last few days since I've actually slept more and woken up a bit later, I've felt less awake/crazy...

Yeah to be honest Ammi, I feel worse the more sleep I get. When Matthew was away last weekend I had much more sleep than usual but felt worse for it (or was that the few more drinks than usual? )

But, I am more of a morning person now....which my parents will probably find hard to believe as I used to be a horror in the morning.

...ahhh wow, teenage years...there were some days that I didn't get out of bed until around 3pm..mind you, I didn't got to sleep until 3-4pm either sometimes...maybe it's not so much that we come strangers to our parents/not the teenage people they knew..we start to become our parents....I remember with my dad, he got into such a routine/sleeping pattern through his working life that he still always got up at around 5am and I never understood that but as I get older I realise how hard it is to break these things and when you occasionally have a little more sleep you don't feel so alert type thing...

My dad is the same now Ammi.....he's always up and dressed by 6am....even though he's retired
