They are similar. Essentially they'd be playing different roles but they would still be fighting for similar spots in the squad. it doesnt help when most of the time he was played in positions that he wasnt comfortable in i reckon he will be a great layer given the chance in positions he wants

He's had his fair share of chances playing in positions he wanted to play in and never produced any consistency or anything special, not to say he won't improve but he's been bang average for 6 seasons
