There's no way Spencer would have been eliminated had the overs and groups performed as well.

I think spencer has been robbed I wanted Lloyd or Sam to go home spencer had so much to give

And I don't think Grace deserved the top of the vote either Alisah slayed

I liked it, liked that they didn't bother with a Halloween theme which has been done to death, 8 songs was just enough, 16 would have dragged it out too much, the loser announced on the night ...good, only issue is Spencer leaving over Leon but the public are rubbish anyway at making decisions so let them keep making awful choices

Leon wasn't in the bottom 2 though - it was announced in no particular order - so for all we know it could've been Grace or Holly or Rai-Elle who were in the bottom with him.

Boys and Girls Week 1 Summary
Thoughts on the acts:
Rai-Elle: Nice mashup, great confidence,
but the vocals were disappointing...
Spencer: The performance was perfect, but I partly agree with Sharon's critique...
Holly: Loved her VT, and her voice and song, but she was pretty basic today...
Leon: Song choice was bad, vocals were terrible, and he had an OK stage presence...
Alisah: One word. SLAY. Flawless performance, left the haters SHOOK...
Grace: Another original song. Boring. Vocals were ok and didn't get the rose petal vibe...
Sam: He sounded out of breath...but stage presence was good...
Lloyd: He's the male version of Alisah imo...great ending for the show...
What I Thought Of The Elimination:
Leon should have gone home, over my fave to win, Spencer...guess the public saved Leon due to his looks alone and the fact that he was British...
Performance Rankings:
1. Alisah
2. Lloyd
3. Spencer
4. Holly
5. Rai-Elle
6. Grace
7. Sam
8. Leon
I don't think Grace shouldn't have been the night winner...really makes this ons of the most predictable seasons of all time...would have preferred a Alisah or Lloyd win...
My faves:
Boys: Lloyd (used to be Spencer)
Girls: Alisah
Liam's performance was weak and dull, the vocal didn't work for him, as well as the song, how did the record label let him release this...
And finally for the studio and new format, the studio was wonderful and refreshing...it was so pretty (unpopular opinion), the new format was OK, actually liked only 8 performing per night because it wasn't boring unlike when they used 12-16 per night...the new elimination was so-so, it was glad that the viewing audience had their say only, but I was sad Spencer didn't have a second chance to redeem himself...

I really don't find Alisah or Lloyd that enjoyable - there's no doubt they can sing BUT they don't have recording voices, they have theatre voices. That was cemented by the fact Lloyd sang a song from a musical. I got halfway through their Performances before my mum fastforwarded - we were both bored stiff.

In an X Factor series, I look for the Performances of those that I enjoy and want to watch time and time again, and someone that I'd like to hear on the radio.

I don't want another 1 note Sam Smith.
