I hope he's successful in delaying the election, I look forward to President Pelosi's interim reign if he does so.

I imagine there's gonna be a lot of republican resistance to this, I imagine they want to get this ****show of an election out of the way sooner rather than later. The longer Trump's in office, the more damage he does to the republican party at this point.

Pelosi would only become president if the election isn't held by what would normally be inauguration day, but there's no way the dem house would vote to delay anyway, unless there is a massive power grab which I wouldn't rule out, this can't really happen.

I think Liam is on the money here for why he's said this today.

Yeah, I'd assume so. I'm guessing Trump hopes that everything 'sorts itself' out by the time a delayed election happens although it's a pipe dream. America is going to suffer more than usual for months to come.
