Trump has just posted on social media, saying Iran's response was "very weak". He thanks them for "giving us early notice".

"Iran has officially responded to our Obliteration of their Nuclear Facilities with a very weak response, which we expected, and have very effectively countered," the US president says on Truth Social.

He says 14 missiles were fired by Iran, 13 of which were "knocked down" and another headed in a "nonthreatening direction".

No Americans were harmed and "hardly any damage was done", he says. No Qataris were killed or wounded, Trump says.

"Most importantly, they’ve gotten it all out of their 'system,' and there will, hopefully, be no further HATE. I want to thank Iran for giving us early notice," he says.

"Perhaps Iran can now proceed to Peace and Harmony in the Region, and I will enthusiastically encourage Israel to do the same," he says.

trump says the ceasefire is now active, but i just don't see israel letting these latest deaths go unanswered. Also, Iran is weakened, a ceasefire allows them to regroup and i don't think israel will want that

i think israel/usa need boots on the ground in iran to see how badly they have damaged irans nuke ambitions. They cant send troops realistically, so this is the logical next step. Let the inspectors have a good look around and monitor satellite and other intelligence to see what going on

i mean they literally sent 14 MOP's on those nuclear facilities, and they hit their targets, of course Iran doesn't want to admit that the US were successful with their mission


but 14 of those heavy bombs also won't have left much behind to investigate i think


and you can suspect Iran of possibly using nuclear weapons, sure, but nuclear energy you can also use for electricity in the major city of Teheran, and what to think of hospitals, like with radiation therapy for those who have serious illnesses who require those treatments, etc

what a timing of Trump wanting a ceasefire, now there is the NATO Summit he is attending


but honestly i doubt they'll want to do anything to him there, i think most US military bases and ships (idk if US have any currently active in the middle east ) are in trouble, but that was a good quick reaction at those missiles in Qatar tbh, succesfully preventing any loss of life
