Yeah I think it was mentioned on the opening night, like little tidbits Davina tells you as the housemate is walking in, I think she mentioned it. He also said it in the DR I'm sure. Plus he's been on a few TV shows trying to hold onto that fame, Friday Night Project for one.

According to her fans she has shown singing talent.

Who cares what they do next, none of them warrant careers out of just appearing on TV, it would be different if they actually had some talent that they could use towards their fame but quite frankly none do. Oh maybe Jon Tickle on Brainiac becuase he actually uses his knowledge of science etc, apart from that one example though...ex-housemates should disappear back into obscurity after BB, unless it's to reappear for a BB-Allstars.

If they do have anything else to offer, then I dont see why cant they do anything else, its their decision what they do, nothing to do with us, onl if they have anything else to offer.
Yeah but the majority don't have anything else to offer, that's the point. They all either want to be models, singers or actors and none are good at either of those. Some have got radio shows etc, that's okay I suppose but when they try to hang onto the coat tails of their very last remnants of z-list fame, it's just desperate and depressing. That's why I want BB9 to be more about the actual show and winning the money, rather than the fame aspect.
Some have shown that they do have other things to offer.
Like who?! Apart from Tickle? Please don't say the Twins and their newly found pop career.

Be serious now. Richard yeah suppose, like I said doing radio is okay I suppose. But seriously Chanelle is just your typical X-Factor singer, okay but nothing special and certainly bringing nothing new to the music scene, unless what the music scene needs is another Victoria Beckham (Chanelle was my fave housemate in BB8 for the time I watched it so I'm not been bias). I don't even know what CDC is. And Nikki interviewing, come on...she's hardly Parky is she. But I suppose at least she stayed on BB and didn't try to infiltrate another show.

Still for a first time interviewer she did a very good job, I wouldn't say very very good, but you could tell she was improving everyweek.

Only if you haven't seen any proper interviews in your lifetime I suppose. It's not like she's needed, nobody is begging out for an interviewer like Nikki Grahame. The reason she probably looked good was because the alternatives were Shahbaz, Glyn and bloody Spiral.

Nikki is excellent an BBLB's BB Team!

Who do you think will be on BB9's?

I think Gerry is a shoe-in!

Glyn was good! Sometimes . . . well there was one really funny bit he was in!

I loved it everytime Dermott was like "Oh no, Its Shahbaz" everytime it was Shahbaz's turn!

She had those right expression the interviwers have for an entertainment show, and the purpose was to interview and make viewers laugh, which she did very well.

I think they will try to bury and forget about BB8. I'm sure the B-Team item will be dropped or if not they'll have the same housemates as this year because quite frankly the choice from BB8 is just awful.

Depends how your humour is. Nikki was entertaining during BB7 (her first stint), she was my fave, I voted like hell to try and keep her in that week everyone was up for eviction. But when she came back the second time, it had soon run dry, she was no longer entertaining. So seeing her make the same old comments while interviewing strangers about their inane views on BB where most of the time they didn't have a clue what was happening was to me just not very entertaining at all.

Anyway, if they are planning to shake up BB next year, I think BBLB is in need of a good shake up. It has been stale for two years now, Dermot looks bored as hell most of the time.

Gerry! He is perfect for it!

He would be excellent. Maybe Shabnam aswell. I definitely think they should give Gerry a job. I loved him when he was asking people who they wanted to win on the second last BBLB!

Well said, I did occassionly like Glyns. Which BB8 HM can carry of an autocue for an interview, and that being natural, funny, and expressive. Even the most boring ones like Oxford University Library interview was well excuted by her, the purpose was to imitate Brians "Youghurt Top", phrase and Tracey's "Cheese and Quaver", which she managed to do with being natural and without fluffing.

But that was last year as her being a BB HM, this year was trying to show that she has the ability to offer something else than the crap we saw last when she came back, and she did surprise a lot of people, even in DS forum haters. I like liked Glyn occassionally though.

Looks like BB5 and BB7 have the same popularity in this forum.

Yea, but since this is such an ongoing thread the results change all the time. Look at BB3 though!

Only 33 people have voted though, that's not many. Unlike a poll on DS which gets thousands, may be a good idea to maybe ask the same question there?

1000s don't vote on DS, theres just 1000s of members. Also you might get banned for that!

I must say, they edited the auditions in BB5 in a much better style than they do nowadays. Don't know why but I'm a particular fan of Jason's audition. Don't know why but it seems to work so well!

I loved the BB5 presentation of the housemates, not as much as the BB8 one but it's ok.

I thought the BB8 auditions were awful. It was all so staged and everything. I preferred it when we got to see real parts of their auditions instead of seeing them infront of a white background.

What are you on about?

This year they showed us no clips of their actual auditions when they entered.

Yeah I didn't like the BB8 audtions with the white background, I don't know, it just felt so 'performed'. I know they all put on a performance to an extent but it just didn't seem as natural as in previous years. I love the whole BB5 launch night, it was just exciting housemate followed by exciting housemate, really great.
