I was at the Raw house show in 2004 that was like the first Irish house show in about ten years and the place was crackers. I swear I made eye contact with Triple H when he was doing his thing with the aul bottle of Evian. Benoit said if he bate him we'd all celebrate by going for a pint of Guinness.

Probably good that we didn't go with him in hindsight, like.

Oh yeah and The Fink came out to Welcome To The Jungle. That's like something from a dream but there you have it, it happened.

He got booed when he announced that SmackDown would be coming next. JBL was just turning and the likes of Heidenreich, Rene Dupree and Kenzo Suzuki were lighting up Thursday nights back then.

Raw's in Chicago tonight at 2AM. Anyone not here for it will get a bating from me.

I'm getting Cena paranoia now. Punk's not a ratings hit as champion even though the live crowd love him so I'm bracing myself for the usual quick fix of putting the belt back on Cena

It's bizarre how bad the ratings are considering how much better the booking has been in recent months. It's a bad omen because WWE are actually doing some things right for once and building fresh talent but they might go all knee jerk and just revert back to the same old stale, quick fix garbage now instead of continue to grow.

Also these Eoin thread title updates are like how I imagine Vince Russo's brain works.

It's great that they have decided to give Daniel Bryan a run as WHC and I hope they continue to build up the young talent but they do have a habit of messing things up in regards to storylines...

I like the theory that it's Y2J but if he backed out of contract negotiations the vignettes are ambiguous enough that they can just pass them off as Taker ones.

It has to be Jericho, dosen't it. It would be too much of an anticlimax if it was Taker after all of this and WWE are smart enough to realise that. I can't wait to see him return if it is Jericho although I've gone cold on him since he started using Twitter in an effort to reveal to the world that he's actually this gigantic prick.

That's what makes him cracking as a lawyer though. I think it's a great gimmick. They should do that with all the rest of their boring, dry talent. Just throw a stupid gimmick on them.

I would make myself proper sticky if that were to happen. I'd love if he done a proper black man gimmick explaining how WWE kept him down when they pushed that whitey JBL.

In all honesty though the one guy I'd love to see return is D'Lo. Never a frown with the Brown. He's pure class.
