Has Rosie Webster got any big storylines coming up?
I love her. I only really watch it for her and Fiz, I'm glad Stape is back, Fiz is at her best with him. |

In light of David Platt's ever yoyo-ing tan, I have decided to start a thread within a thread...Welcome to Tango Watch!
In today's installment we look at Davd Platt in Wednesday's installment. He was positively glowing! Like a radioactive manchester fairy man! I give him the rating of 'deep bronze, almost a Mario rating!' |

Ken (William Roache) is asleep and fully clothed on the sofa and Blanche (Maggie Jones) can't help but make a comment about living with a wino. Deirdre (Anne Kirkbride) is still concerned about the similarities between her and the character in the book but Ken refuses to discuss it leading to another row. Has Ken's novel finally driven a wedge between him and Deirdre?
David (Jack P Shepherd) is determined to sort things out with Tina (Michelle Keegan) and throws a sickie to get the day off work so he can wait for her to arrive at the kebab shop. It soon becomes evident that Tina is in no mood to forgive him though and Darryl (Johnny Dixon) tells him he should have more dignity. Michelle (Kym Marsh) is delighted that Ryan (Ben Thompson) has returned home from his trip with his dad but she is less than impressed when she discovers that Steve (Simon Gregson) has already filled him in their split. Ryan is worried about where they are going to live and she tells him that they are stopping at the Rovers as Steve was the one that cheated on her. Meanwhile Steve has other things to worry about when Jason (Ryan Thomas) arrives at the cab office and demands to speak to him about Becky (Katherine Kelly) - has Steve been rumbled? Elsewhere Pam (Kate Anthony) and Molly (Vicky Binns) are excitedly looking at wedding mags and Ted (Michael Byrne) asks Audrey (Sue Nicholls) go with him to the opera. This episode is written by John Anderson and directed by Damon Rochefort. The producer is Kim Crowther. **** PI for rest of the week follows: Monday 11 August 8.30pm Steve (Simon Gregson) is a worried man as he faces Jason (Ryan Thomas) in the cab office. He is sure he has found out about him and Becky (Katherine Kelly) and is relieved when he realises Jason is just worried about Becky's job. Later however Steve manages to annoy Becky when he implies that he has got more to lose than her if the truth came out. In a bid to wind him up she decides to invite Michelle (Kym Marsh) on a night out with her and Sean (Antony Cotton). Michelle takes great pleasure in changing the rota so that Steve has to work. Will this warring couple ever make up? Ken (William Roache) is in despair as he reads some well thumbed paperbacks which once inspired him. He compares his own writing and frustrated grabs a bottle of scotch and heads out. Meanwhile Deirdre (Anne Kirkbride) is starting to wonder if her marriage is over, convinced that Ken now has no respect for her at all and believing that the character in the novel is based on her. Ken tries to convince Blanche (Maggie Jones) that the characters are fictional but realises that the book is not very good and makes a decision which sends his dreams up in smoke. Tina (Michelle Keegan) is still trying to avoid David (Jack P Shepherd) so Joe (Reece Dynsdale) tries to orchestrate a meeting between the pair by booking a night's ten pin bowling and asking Gail to turn up with David. Elsewhere Tyrone (Alan Halsall) is worried that Auntie Pam's (Kate Anthony) knockoff ham sales are affecting Ashley's (Steven Arnold) business. This episode is written by Chris Fewtrell and directed by John Anderson. The producer is Kim Crowther. ***** Wednesday 13 August 7.30pm Steve (Simon Gregson) is worried about Michelle's (Kym Marsh) night out with Becky (Katherine Kelly), Sean (Antony Cotton) and Marcus (Charlie Condou) and tries to encourage the guys to take them to a gay bar. He's horrified when Michelle comes into the bar cleary dressed to impress. The night is a success for Michelle when she bumps into an old musician friend in a karaoke bar and invites him back for a nightcap - how will Steve react to this latest development? Gail (Helen Worth) comes clean to David (Jack P Shepherd) about Joe's (Reece Dynsdale) plan to get him and Tina (Michelle Keegan) back together via a 'surprise' meeting at the bowling alley. Tina's not fooled by the ruse but she agrees to hear David out. Can he persuade her to take him back? Teresa (Karen Henthorne) is still playing the dutiful wife and rustles up dinner for Jerry (Michael Starke) and Finlay (Ramone Quinn) - curry for Jerry and a sandwich for Finlay. Finlay's not impressed with the sandwich and Teresa is horrified when Jerry tries to give him some of his curry - unaware that she has put one of his tablets in it. Meanwhile Jerry tries to convince her that she should move into his mate's flat. Elsewhere Ken is feeling guilty about the way he has treated Deirdre but she is in no mood to forgive him and he realises he has got a lot of work to do. This episode is written by Jonathan Harvey and directed by John Anderson. The producer is Kim Crowther. ***** Friday 15 August 7.30pm Steve (Simon Gregson) has had a sleepless night worrying about Michelle (Kym Marsh) and her friend JD (Paul David-Gough). When he lets himself into the pub he is devastated to find them enjoying breakfast and he demands that JD leave the pub immediately. Michelle is furious and insists that she and JD are just old mates but Steve is having none of it. He tells her that she is out of order bringing him back and gives her an ultimatum - either they get back together or she moves out. Tina (Michelle Keegan) is still avoiding David (Jack P Shepherd) and Jerry (Michael Starke) is less than impressed when David turns up at the kebab shop and orders 10 kebabs before putting stools in front of the door so she can't escape. Furious that he has shown her up at work she books an appointment at his salon in town and exacts her revenge. Elsewhere Molly discovers that Auntie Pam (Kate Anthony) has started a pickle business in their kitchen and Jerry is starting to feel the effects of Teresa's poisoning. This episode is written by Mark Wadlow and directed by John Anderson. The producer is Kim Crowther. ***** Friday 15 August 8.30pm David's (Jack P Shepherd) bosses are furious as Tina (Michelle Keegan) continues to show him up and make a scene in front of the salon clients. Tina is delighted to have got her own back but David ends up getting the sack and they both find themselves thrown out onto the street. Standing in the street with wet hair Tina is amused at first but when realisation dawns she storms off leaving David jobless and heartbroken once more. Michelle (Kym Marsh) is stunned by Steve's (Simon Gregson) ultimatum but he explains that their fall out is hurting the kids and if she can't forgive and forget then she and Ryan (Ben Thompson) must move out by the end of the week. Ryan overhears and is devastated giving Michelle food for thought. Later Becky (Katherine Kelly) gives her come advice and tells her Steve is a good bloke and it would be a shame to throw it all away for one little mistake. Will Michelle agree to give Steve a second chance? Jerry (Michael Starke) is pleased when Ashley (Steven Arnold) arrives with meat for some dinner but Teresa (Karen Henthorne) is not best pleased when Ashley offers to cook the meat in a casserole. Keen to continue with her bid to poison Jerry she waits until Ashley leaves before crushing a pill into the food. Elsewhere Molly (Vicky Binns) loses her engagement ring and Gail (Helen Worth) and Joe (Reece Dynsdale) enjoy a secret date. This episode is written by Lucy Gannon and directed by John Anderson. The producer is Kim Crowther. |
