Defoe caused our defence a load of problems yesterday too and almost scored, he's finding his form again.

What does Kevin Nolan have to do to be picked in the England team.. Nolan surely deserves a place over the likes of Matt Jarvis

Should have been called up years ago when he was at Bolton, was easily in the top 5 English CM's at the time. Probably still is actually

7 in 10 for Arsenal since 2011 began
5 in 12 for Liverpool since 2011 began
4 in 10 for Man City since 2011 began
4 in 10 for Chelsea since 2011 began
4 in 11 for Fulham since 2011 began
4 in 12 for Man Utd since 2011 began
3 in 10 for Sunderland since 2011 began

Weird that Arsenal have the most this year yet their defence is the one that makes the most mistakes

Joe Hart (Man City) = 13
Petr Cech (Chelsea) = 12
Edwin van der Sar (Man Utd) = 12
Pepe Reina (Liverpool) = 11

Gordon [5] and Mignolet [7] have split for Sunderland;
Almunia [1], Fabianski [5] and Szczesny [5] for Arsenal;
Schwarzer [7] and Stockdale [3] for Fulham

Weiss deserves and Extra medal just for that Assist for Jelavic, it was something Xavi would have been proud of.

It was a cracking fast free kick that led to yer 2nd goal. Serves 'tic right for sleeping. But most of the Rangers team deserved their medals - even eeh-haw Wier was immense.

ARSENAL keeper Wojciech Szczesny has given a damning verdict on his team-mates.

The Arsenal star reckons he would rather play behind 48-year-old youth team coach Steve Bould than any of the club’s current centre-halves.

He also branded striker Nicklas Bendtner “arrogant” and claims fellow goalkeeper Jens Lehmann “a nutcase"

The keeper believes he will be back in action from a finger injury to face Manchester United in a potential title decider on May 1.

But he gave a cutting assessment of the current squad when he was quizzed by fans at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday ahead of a live screening of Arsenal’s 2-2 draw at West Brom.

Asked which centre-half at the club he prefers to play behind, the Pole named Steve Bould, who retired 11 years ago due to arthritis.

Once the laughter had stopped Szczesny, 20, added: “and maybe Tony Adams.”

Asked by another supporter who was more confident, him or Bendtner, Szczesny said: “I am confident, he is arrogant.”

Szczesny’s straight-faced comments came before Manuel Almunia dropped Arsenal’s latest costly defensive gaffe to gift West Brom a two-goal lead.

Lehmann rejoined the club last week and boss Arsene Wenger is now weighing up whether to throw the German into the title race at the age of 41.

Asked if Lehmann had changed from his first spell at the club, Szczesny said: “I was very young the first time he was at the club but he is still a nutcase!”

Gunners midfielder Jack Wilshere believes Arsenal still have the heart to catch United in the title race, saying: “We still believe we can win it. We’ve got nine games left. We have to really go for it.”

Lol this guy, though djourou and vermaelen are both good.
Still havent lost a premier league game this season when djourou has played.

Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey ‘honoured’ to captain Wales against England
20-year-old delighted to become youngest ever Wales captain in a memorable end to an injury-plagued 12 months and aims to lead by example

I dont know if thats a great move but glad to see it.

Skysports.com understands Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish has identified Birmingham defender Scott Dann as one of his top summer transfer targets.

Dalglish is keen to reshape the Reds squad for next season and he sees Dann as a key addition to his long-term plans.

Dann has established himself as one of the best young defenders in the Premier League during his time at Birmingham.

A number of clubs, including Manchester United, are believed to be monitoring his situation at St Andrews but Dalglish is keen to win the race for the Liverpool-born stopper.

However, any move could prove difficult with newly installed director of football Damien Comolli being involved in all transfer dealings at Anfield.

It is believed Comolli is looking to pursue other targets ahead of Dann even though Dalglish sees the former Coventry man as the type of young, hungry and Premier League proven player he wants to bring into his side for next season

What do you think of him jedwardfever?

He is from Liverpool and used to have a season ticket here

It's going to be good seeing England thrash Wales tomorrow. I wonder if it will be a new record win.
