I did towards the end but with pop idol I loved that.

I used to work till 4pm on a saturday and go to the pub after work with some collegues and I used to have to leave them in there to get blotto while i drove home to watch pop idol. I couldn't miss a second of it. Ant and Dec are the best.

I only watched the first one towards the end of it so I can't really compare the two.

But obviously Will Young was better because his career has taken off whereas Michelle McManus' career took a nose dive before it really started. She wasn't my choice to win it - I liked Roxanne and Sam. Michelle got the sypathy vote.
