Find an FC if you haven't already, most are pretty good and will help you get into and through content quickly.

A lot of the hard dungeons dont get run as much as they used to lol, the hard modes should be pretty easy though. Urth's Fount is basically an Ex Primal fight, so most DF parties wont clear it lol, its a shame you're not on Adamantoise, could run them with you lol.

You're nearing the Heavensward stuff now, atm you're on ARR endgame, which is kinda... midgame now? lol

The dungeons really aren't much of an issue, they're straightforward enough. It's just these stupid trials that need some practice and patience, two concepts seemingly alien to everyone I get paired up with. Garuda at least doesn't even seem that difficult so if people would just stick it out a tiny bit longer I'd probably have it done by now.

Urth's Fount isn't necessary to progress (I don't think?) so I can let that slide but I think I need to do hard mode Garuda and Titan so this is why I'm so frustrated.

I'm kinda surprised the groups you're in are struggling with the HM primals, most of the time people can ignore mechanics for those battles and just burn 'em down. You must have been pretty unlucky to get teams that can't do that.

Are you part of an FC yet? A lot of good FCs will probably help you clear content.

Also I wouldn't worry about Urth's Font, it's a tough one at the best of times but it's not needed for anything so there's no rush to beat it.

I think the hard mode primals are only needed for the relic, which is outdated now, with a new relic coming in 3.1. I agree with Dezzy, its weird that parties are struggling with Hard Mode primals, usually Garuda is steamrolled in 3 minutes.

Maybe I'll have to give up and try again tomorrow then because I've not been having much luck at all with the people duty finder has been pairing me with tonight.

I've been trying Titan for the past half hour and everyone kept getting thrown off the edge of the arena until they got angry and abandoned. Perhaps I've just been super unlucky.

Yes and it's pretty bad with only two other active members, but I'm kind of stuck with it as its run by my friend who was really happy when I joined so I'd feel really awkward next time I see him if I quit.

It's probably worth disbanding the FC, an FC with only two active members cant get anything done, you could suggest to your friend finding a bigger one to become part of. Which server are you on?

Cerberus, I think it's either the most or second most populated EU server so there should be a lot better to choose from.

First of all, Yoshida-san is still waiting to know when the console will be released, and secondly, Square Enix needs to talk to Nintendo as well about the policies about cross-platform gameplay on the NX before a port can be considered. Negotiations with Nintendo on the topic still have to be started.

Considering that for a MMORPG, more platforms mean more users, and the more users, the better, hopefully we’ll get a port for both Xbox One and NX in the future, turning Final Fantasy XIV into a truly global game.

I must've just been insanely unlucky yesterday because I've managed to get through the hard modes on first attempt/no wipes and extreme Garuda and Titan all fairly quickly with only one group abandon so it's been much more bearable!! And Titan extreme is probably the most fun I've had in a game for a long time. Dodging all the AOEs and bombs in the final 20-30% hp when the space available to walk is tiny is so tense.

I gave Thornmarch extreme a go too and that was a bit rough/didn't manage to complete it but on the plus side the battle music was great.

Oooh, well done on beating Titan Extreme, that's usually the one people struggle with the most. Ifrit EX is very easy in comparison.

Ask your FC to help you out, EX primals are a piece of piss at level 60, in my FC we help the new players through them every Sunday and it usually only takes us an hour to do all the 2.0 ones.

Left my FC and the first new one I joined turned out to be lalafell only which is a bit, um, discriminatory.

Not sure I like it but I haven't had much luck finding any others. I found one which seemed ideal but turned out they expected me to voice chat every time they do anything so that kind of put me off. This is hard.
