Jerry Morton - decides to quit the Kebab shop and move to Spain due to his failing health. Teresa, Darryl, Mel and Keyleigh leave with him.
Abi bows out after the girl gang attack when she and Mel are undercover. Harry and Clarissa leave Weatherfield for a new life. Dan falls out for good with Leanne and decides Weatherfield is not for him. Sean demands Marcus never show his face again after he discovers he's been seeing his ex-boyfriend for months. Vernon is offered a recording deal and leaves for London to pursue his career. Liam is murdered at the hands of Tony Gordon, who also hides his body. He was due to die in the Lake District but the scenes will now be set on a walk in nearby Lancashire. |

Coronation Street star Alison King and her boyfriend Adam Huckett have announced that they are expecting their first child.
King, who plays superbitch Carla Connor on the ITV1 soap, confirmed that she is "over the moon" and eagerly anticipating the arrival of the baby in February. "Both Alison and Adam are so excited, they can't believe their luck. It's all they are talking about," a source close to the couple told The People. "Alison is just over the three month mark and is relieved that everything is fine." A Coronation Street spokesperson said: "Alison and Adam are over the moon - they're thrilled and delighted."
