Oh yeah it looks awful, but consider how big BTW (the single) was, and the video that went with it and the promo before hand compared to now... Most just look at the figures and consider Artpop to be some kind of bomb lol

Yeah, in the US it does, which is kinda funny, Katy's had the biggest selling single of the year, Miley has been the most talked about person all year and they still only managed to do 18k and 10k more than her (respectively)

WW is a totally different matter, in the UK Katy did 52k whereas GaGa did 65k and Miley only 32k in Japan, GaGa did 60k and Katy 15k

so it's hilarious when people say she's flopping, it's just arrogant americans who think the US is the centre of the world

Yeah that was the point I was trying to make, for a pretty moderate hit Gaga has come off well pretty much everywhere, it could still go on to sell as much as her previous releases, pretty easily infact.

The album is a dying thing (not artpop, just albums in general), with everyone illegally downloading stuff I'm pretty sure they won't exist the same way they do now in 10-20 years time, it's quite scary really how much the industry has changed these last 3/4 years :s
