Not scary at all but obviously back in the day I can imagine people bricking it. The best scenes were the flashbacks as kids. Pennywise is definitely a classic horror figure though.

Ju-on -The Curse (2000)

I think Ju-on- The Grudge (2002) was amazing, it was one of the movies that really scared the living daylights out of me.

I have seen Ju-on-The Curse once before, that was a while ago, I have seen 2002 remake a few times. So I had to give this movie re-watch

This movie is short and it had some really good creepy tone throughout the whole movie and some very good chilling moments and i feel like this movie had bit more of a story then 2002 remake, it had did so- what of a different plot, which I never really pick on my first watch.

I did not find it scary as the 2002 version but in this movie that Kayako saeki coming down stairs seem to feel a lot more scary in this movie, then 2002 remake, it raise the hairs on the back of neck.

The acting was great from most of cast there was one or two actors that could have done a better but they are still watchable.

I going give this movie 5 out of 10.

Juon the curse Part 2 (2000)
This movie start off were the first one left off, after he sold the house his family now is effect by the curse.

I did not find this movie scary or creepy at all, i found some scene very strange and odd and there were a few scenes that meant to be scary,

I could not help but laugh as I found those scene way to silly, the way they made her running crawling was ridiculous.

This movie was very disappointing, no were near as good as first or Ju-on-The Grudge 1 and 2
I going give this movie 3 out of 10

Stake Land (2010)

I saw half of this movie last year, i enjoyed it and now that I seen the full movie, it was little disappointing and the ending, well if you can call that ending.

I thought there was more story to this movie, it just felt a bit out of the blue.

I did like the first half of the movie as it was really entertaining and vampires were little scary looking at times even though some acted more likes zombies at times

The make up effect was really good and it did feel a bit like zombie land with out the comedy in the movie.

With guy picking people a long the way and bonding with them, which is not bad thing in the movie however that parts take some of the horror elements out of the movie and makes it more of a drama then horror.

This movie did bring back what makes makes vampires scary unlike other recent vampires with teens, which I have not seen and never will.

The acting was really good from everyone in cast.

I going give this movie 6 out of 10

Arachnophobia (1990)

I am not scared of spiders at all but my sister scream bloody murder when she see one, I don't if I seeing a eight legged friend.

This movie did a great Job making suspense and tension for whole movie

One of scene that had me on edge of seat as got to be the two girls singing the song about spider coming down and then spider getting closer to the girl foot and at the last second see moved.

That is great example from writing and directing as it got me to cringe a little, (I don't think of ever used that word Cringe before, as I hate that word, sorry going off topic here).

Also like the fact this movie as some of the most hysterical, scene in horror movie that made me laugh out loud.

The acting was outstanding of the whole cast and also the eight legged spiders did great job of acting as well .

I love this movie, great movie, I am going to give it 10 out of 10.

The Pact (2012)

I did not think it was a good but I did not hate it, there were some good tense moment in this movie, some in trusting scenes that got me thinking.

The movie never fully got me in and i did not connect with main lead of the movie, I did not find her that convincing at all and did not care for her at all, that was another reason I did not like this movie.

As I wasn't really into the movie, i didn't understand were the movie was going and I don't get thing with two different eyes.

The acting was little off from some cast members and the some decent acting from everyone else.

I did not find this movie scary or creepy at all and it was little too slow then i thought it be, i blame that on advertisement!

Basket Case (1982)

This whole movie was really cheesy from first second, with really bad acting as the start of the movie and that man did act over the the top.

I love the plot of this movie, thought it was really entertaining from start to finish and never got boring.

As some good bloody gory scenes in this movie and dark funny moment in this movie as well.

I really liked how showed back story from the movie was really good as you can see how close they really were and how upsetting it was making then get cut a part!

The acting was really cheesy in this movie so it worked really well with the rest of the movie.

I think Basket 2 was bit more fun then this, I still really like this movie

Cabin Fever (2002)

I thought it was time to re-watch this as there are another two upcoming movies for this series.

I have seen this movie for years but i don't remember the acting being really bad the last time i saw this movie The written for this felt all over the place but I did enjoy the main plot the movie,

it wasn't just another bunch of collage kids going into woods and getting killed by mask killer but this is was some kind of infection that peels your skin off.

Which i thought really good idea, it could have been better if didn't have to many funny moment in this movie.

The ending of the movie was really funny and it as to nod to The Night of the living dead ending!

Halloween 3 (1982)
I have not seen this movie for years, I remember not liking back then.

Now a few years later, I don't think it WAS a bad movie at all,

I enjoyed this Halloween even with out Mike in it.

it dose makes me wonder what other stories that would have done If the others sequels were all going to be stand alone movies

I found this movie very entertaining from start to end, it never got boring at all,
There really good strange scenes in this movie, which worked really well with the rest of the movie.

The acting from the whole was really good, I don't what call those robots humans were really creepy at time, some of death it were odd and bit creative

Friday the 13th: A New Beginning (1985)

I have only seen this once before, i didn't really pain to much
attention to the movie the last time i saw it.

As huge fan of Jason, i thought I would hate this movie, as he was not
in it, however Jason wasn't not even in the first movie, some how they as
become cult classic.

After the really Good Friday 13th Part 4, they wanted to start again with
the new beginning and try and bring what the made first a cult classic,
somehow failed.

I did not hate it at all, it''s not the worse in this series, I do
think it fits in this series perfectly.

I like the idea of fresh plot guessing who the killer was and I was happy who
the killer turn out to be. it makes sense in the end.

The death were not up to normal Friday 13th grossness but there okay
kills and acting was not great from everyone, it was descent for a
Friday 13th movie

Halloween 6 (For the fist time in full and now I see all 8 movies in series.

I have enjoyed most of the Halloween sequel from 1-5, i have enjoyed and H20

This is ones was little odd, I did not like the whole cult thing at all, it took a bit of slasher fun out of this movie.

I really did like some of the deaths scene in this movie, which i didn't expect to as nasty as they were, but they fun gory scenes.

I thing this movie as some of the best kills in the whole series!

The acting in this was really good for sixth movie in the series but the showdown at the end was really disappointing and end scene was very predictable,

5 out of 10 only because of deaths scenes!

Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan (1989)

This is the second times, i have seen this movie and again not in full, i just could not get into this movie at all,

This as got to be the only movie in the series, that i just can't seem to sit thought at all

I just found the movie really boring, i did not like how they brought Jason back from the dead, i just found that really silly.

The deaths scene in this movie were not that good at all, I found them dull and boring and way over the top and not gory at all,

Some of the deaths scene were off screen (I hated nasty girl and yet we don't see her die on screen) and i saw way too many goof mistakes in the deaths scene and you might think, was that outtakes they forgot to get rid of?

what i really hated about this movie was that , the whole think about the boy in water, just made the movie messing and it kinda of annoyed me.

The acting was really bad from most of the cast, yes, even bad for a Friday 13th movie, some of the cast were decent.

I have no idea how the movie ends. as i already try sit thought this movie twice and i won't try again,

I did not find Jason scary in this movie at all, to tell you truth ,I found copycat killer Friday 13th part 5 scary then Jason in this movie.

I have not see the ending of this movie, so i don't if there scary scenes later in the movie!

I going to this 3 out of 10

Halloween (2007)
I not sure how I feel about the back story too Michael Myers, it kinds good thing for the movie not to be a scene from scene remake on the other hand it did take kinda mystery away from.

I did find the back story in trusting to watch and the kills at the start of the movie were very brutal and Nasty, i think it was bit to nasty for Halloween movie. i did enjoy those nasty gory scenes.

I did seem find the movie little dull at times, as is tad to long for slasher movie but the ending and yet still ending felt a little rushed.

The acting was really good in this movie from everyone, I just did not find Michael Myers scary at all in this movie and i found more brutal, it felt more like he was bit Jason then Michael Myers.

I liked this better then Sequel and i did enjoyed this better Halloween 6 and 8.

I give this remake 6 out of 10

Friday the 13th (2009)

This was really strange remake,

I have only seem this once before,.

This as a lot of action in this movie, which really good thing and Jason does not take to start killing campers in this movie.

The acting in this was really good in this movie.

With all those right elements for a Friday 13th movie, yet it did not seem like one.

i did not feel campy-Nessy in the movie that i am used to in the Friday 13th movie

Even with all action in the movie, i was still bored,while watching the movie, some of the kills were descent in the movie.

Jason he self did not seem scary at all, i did not like it at all. when he runs,

I did not how they changed the story at the start of the movie, that Jason alive, while is mother was killing teens. I found that really unfaithful to original move , (Not big fan of that as well)

Overall i found this to be really flat from start to end However I did do hate this movie as much as I hated the elm street remake.

One-Eyed Monster (2008)
i have only seen this once before, the last time i saw, it was silly and fun.

Now seeing for second time, it feel a little tame the second times around, the jokes are still funny.

Which the over the top plot, i did notice there not much gore in this movie at all, i didn't not like the fact some of the deaths scenes were off screen.

did chuckle at one deaths scenes that was on screen and when that tailwager attacks the victims at first was funny, it got a bit boring as the movie went on.

I really enjoyed some references to other horror pass horror movies, which were fun to watch

The acting from whole cast was really good, as they made even more silly and fun to watch.

Hostel 3 (2011)
Back in 2005 Hostel came out, when I first saw that movie, I hated it and then I saw THE Sequel, which I thought was even worse, so I re-watch the first movie, Hostel kind of crew on me a little.

I thought if i gave hostel second chance, I should give Hostel 2 second chance. I hated the second even more then first time I saw it..

I now Hostel 3 which is a improvement from last movie, I think.
They really did tone down nudity and gruesome scenes, , there were some descent nasty scene in this movie don't expect anything as gruesome as last two movies.

The acting in the movie was much better then second movie and they were not any annoying people in this movie like hostel 2.

There did have a lot of plot this movies then last two movies put together and there some decent turns in story, that I did not see coming and i liked it!

I did find some parts of the movie little dull. later in movie get really entertaining, i really liked the last half hour movie, kept griped to the TV.

Even i knew how the movie going end and i glad how the movie ended in this movie and it's not silly and over the top like the end of Hostel 2 rubbish.

I think this is as good as the first! 5 out of 10

The Descent (2006) lost count how many times. i have seen this and yet this movie seem to still make me jump.

They was great build up in the movie, to create the tension for first part of the movie and when the scare start, they just don't let down.

There are really great jumpy moments in this movie, which i really liked, there were very nasty scenes . like the broken leg. which i find hard to watch, yet i don't mind the gory scenes.

The acting was really good from the whole cast!.
I give this movie 8 out of 10

Black Christmas (1974) re-watch

as one of the earliness slasher movies, even few years before big know slasher movie Halloween. I am little shocked that it did not get a sequel and i clad it didn't.

If you are looking for slasher to make you Jump, this movie won't do it at all, there no real scare scenes to make jump however, this movie dose not try to scare you at all in that way,

Some may find this movie little out dated now and tad boring if have already seen other slasher movies like Friday and Halloween movies.

However I found this to me very intense, they did add some dark humor in the mix which was nice and didn't feel campy at all and worked really well with the rest of the movie.

At Christmas at sorority house, girl are unaware that stranger who making phone calls as broken into the house.

We don't get to see who that person is at all, that makes little bit more creepy, as you have no idea who or why is this house for most of the movie, you do get parts of him in the movie.

The deaths in this movie are not gory or anything but there are really good death scenes in this movie, which i think are way before there time.

I love the final scenes of the movie, how is pans around the whole house and still mangers to keep tension until very last second of the movie.

The acting was really good from everyone in whole cast, there maybe one or two had bit over the top acting, it didn't bother to much.

Sleepaway Camp (1983)

it's another movie I have only seen once before that was years ago.

This movie as some of the most nasty vile people in any horror movie, there was not more then one nice person that was like able in this movie.

And the acting in this movie was so bad that it was really funny and the deaths in the movie were not great but they were some decent death scenes for 80's.

It's was shame that some of the deaths scenes were off screen and we only saw the aftermath of them.

The ending was decent a twist, it didn't have the same impact since the first time i saw it, i was shocked by it but when face of the the killer is reveled with mouth open for like ages, i could not help but laugh.

Not seen this movie for years, i really enjoyed it,

I found this movie very entertaining and never found it boring,
it did not bother me that was no real fun factor that the scream series had but I still enjoyed it.

I did like some of the kills scenes were decent but nothing compare to past slasher movies like Ghost face as they went not gory or memorable there are some blood moment in the movie.

The acting from the well know cast was outstanding and there were one or two tense moment in this movie, which i thought really good and made the killer fish man look bit scary at least.

The twist was a little disappointing as you can see coming,

Fight night (1985)
I am happy they showed this movie for breakfast and later on tonight another channel will be showing the remake of this movie, which i have not seen yet, i don't think i will enjoy it as much as i enjoyed this movie.

I seen this movie many times, one of the only vamps movies that I really enjoy, I am not aa big fan of vamp movies.

This movie was really fun to watch, there was some great humor in this movie and the effect this movie were really good,

i love the 80's effects there look so nasty when they are melting (i perfer these kinda of effect in movie then the effect you get in blade) also the make up effect were great for the vampires as did make them look scary for a horror comedy movie.

The acting from everyone in the movie was really good, great movie,

I find this movie even more fun then first movie, i don't think it is as bad as everyone makes it out to be.

I love it from opening scenes (Which i thought great) all the way to the end scene which i thought a classic ending done well.

I found this movie had a little more tension in the movie then first and the death were up notch as well so more really creative and some could have be more gory with weapons the killer used,

The only thing I did not like was how the movie gave way who the killer was, as there was just to much clues.

The acting in this movie from some of cast were bit off here and there but the rest of the cast was really good.

I enjoyed this movie better then first!

Re-Rewatch of Sleepaway camp 2
I did not turn of this times however, i did find the movie every entertaining and there was dull moment here and there in the movie.

There were some really good decent intrusting deaths scenes in movie that really liked and also really enjoyed the nods to other 80's classic horror movies.

I don't mind some nudity in movies but i felt they put to much in this movie and it got dull as the movie went on.

The acting was really poor from most of the cast and i did not like the ending at all, i thought that was really bad way to end a movie.

I still going to give it 5 out of 10

The Resident (2011) I heard some descent comments about this movie, i had put it on watch list for a while.

I now that seen it, i felt it was very disappointing movie , it had some nice tension in the movie and some nice setting which did make some what creepy.

I found the rest of movie really dull and boring as you could tell how all these well going pan out and there were no surprises in this movie or anything really shocking as the plot was little to thin.

The last scenes were entertaining however it just ended there with no real end to the story,

This movie had some really good acting in and the Landlord was really good as the creepy guy. i going to give this 5 out of 10

Sleepaway Camp III: Teenage Wasteland (1989)

I found this a bit more fun then second movie,

as it way to funny for it own good and jokes were really good in this movie, I kept laughing at some parts of the Dark humour.

Both sequels to sleepaway camp have some good part in movies, they don't have the same feel anything like first .

I found the death scene build up were really good but had some tension i hated the fact there was not one death scene was on screen, which was huge letdown as they could of be done really well.

The acting this movie from everyone in cast was cheesy as you can get and ending was nothing but boring dull and predicable.

5 out of 10 for both sequels

Ill Always Know What You Did Last Summer

Another re-watch not seen the first time I saw it, this movie not good at all, the whole movie was just really wearied

This movie did not start of too bad, i did enjoy prank at the start but after the movie goes down hill fast.

I found this very strange with flashing and fasting moving parts of the movie, took any tension that this try to have, it just felt really odd and it just did fit in with last two movies of the series,

I did not like fact they went supernal way for 3rd which remind ME of how urban legends Series went also went supernatural way on their 3rd entry year early.

The acting was really bad from most of the cast, some scenes were so bad that is laughable , there saw a death body and i didn't even look that shocked at all and after they have poor poorly pointing dream scream to waste time.

Also also most everyone knew what they did last summer, that should have been main title.

Really poorly made sequel with a very descent last scene.

First movie was great and I loved it and this sequel is not connected to last movie, one of the vamps return to this movie, well for part of the movie.

This movies does take a while to get started as there have a lot of filler scenes ,with some vamps scenes.

The first few scenes with vampires look descent as the movie goes on the vampires look less scary.

When start get a little less boring, they make movie look a messy, it just felt like the movie was all over the place and i did not were to go with and then gave it a really rushed last 10 mins

The effect in this movie was no were near as good as the first, some were little descent but most of it was really bad,

The acting was decent in the movie.

Worth watching a least once 4 out of 10

Sometimes They Come Back... Again (1996)

I Have seen the first more then once i say, i have not it seen for a while and I wasn't to keen on it and i gave the first movie 4 out of 10

This movie,I did see the trailer for both again (2) and for even more (3), i must say trailer for again was very well made as it made the movie look good.

This as not real connection to first movie expect for evil kids to come back but no longer kids as they demons now.

It's took time for it to get going as it was kept showing flashback and here and there to get the back story for first 45 of mins of the movie.

It's kind of annoyed me a little as was keep going back and forward and some of the scenes really dull and boring.

I did like the idea of how they Were brought back was cool idea but it could been done so much better.

I thought death scenes were some-What descent and nothing to bad, there were some bloody deaths in movie but not too gory.

Some of the effect in this movie was descent and really well made and some effect were poor at times as well.

The acting in this movie was really good from everyone in the cast.

I going give this 5 out of 10 (I found this a just a little bit more fun the first movie).

I wasnt expecting much it was on Film4 tonight but I actually quite enjoyed it. The ending is oh so predictable but the leads were really likable and the scene with the hippies was pretty funny!

First watch, i love the first movie, i did not like the sequel too much at all but this movie is a liittle bit of a mix bag,

For the first hour of the movie, it felt like westen movie with no horror elements in the movie at all,

I found the those scenes very dull and boring.
I was really bored with most of the this movie and i all most turn it off after 45mins of the movie but stuck with it

The movie did pick up in the last half hour of the movie.

That when it went all horror and action really starts and don't stop until end of the movie, there were some decent gory effect in this movie, which i really liked.
