Domestic league is your own bread and butter and the Rivalry with United is obviously more based on Domestic football then European football, So Domestic League wins in this case

A Champions League requires alot less skill and quality to win than a League. Look at Chelsea last season,Yourselves in 2005 or us in the 1999 final.


Winning a League though undoubtedly makes you the best in your country.

United obviously had a plan, they dropped DHL kit deal but will still assoicate with them in another way. The club obviously have something else lined up and are in talks to extend the Nike contract, clever business opportunities for both parties.

It counts seeing as you have to win the League or FA Cup to get there in the first place tbh.

If we are counting League Cup where you face low division sides or Prem reserves the whole way through then we are counting the Shield

I was reading somewhere where Real Madrid make more off their Kit Sales than Adidas actually do, but they in return cover all of the costs for it etc and get paid less as a sponsorship deal, Whereas Nike make more off our kit sales obviously,but we don't worry about the costs and get paid more by them for the sponsorship in the first place. If this makes sense..

I imagine they have made a ****load off Ronaldo/Kaka

Both United/Nike get their fair share out of the profits and have a successful business relationship for ages, although United want more money from them.

From what I remember it was pretty much a "I'll be writing down the name of 1 player at the start of every season that I think will let us down, you don't want to be that player" sort of thing. Think it was bull**** though.
