There's a fair amount....we were looking for the deeds to the house as the probate people need them. He and my nan were the tidiest hoarders I've ever come across. They have kept every newspaper clipping, birthday card, Christmas card they have ever got from any of us, including my dad and uncle so it's slow going as its so interesting And so sad....my grandad was one of those men who always wore a shirt and tie even just to sit in the house...he must have had a hundred ties

Matthew is fine, he knows that great grandad has died, but keeps saying he is going to come back on an aeroplane when he's better...bless. We've finally been able to arrange the funeral though.

...I always aspire to tidiness but never quite fully achieve it and envy people who do, I love looking through old photos and letters etc, I think that why I also get distracted from my tidy campaigns because I have to look at them all...my dad loved ties/cravats as well, I kept lots of them when he died and wear them when I'm feeling a little low..I don't really care what they look like on me.....aww, Matthew.....it's just one of the wonderful things about children that they don't understand these things fully and nor should they...
