i don't mean that he HAVE TO believe her, it's that we have no reason to doubt it's who she is, just because she's unusual. and you said 'her eccentric persona', we don't know that it's a persona.

we have a reason to doubt it on the grounds that it is very unlikely it is her true self. Celebrities lie to us every day, Mischa Barton says she's not onc rack but everyone knows she is, Michael Jackson said he only had 2 nose jobs but we all know he had endless plastic surgery. If we were to believe everything celebrities chose to tel us we'd be living in a very naive society.

We know they're both one person just whether or not the character which comes across on stage/screen is actually here. Like with BB if someone is thick people are like surely they cant be that thick. Its the same with Gaga whether she is that eccentric or whether its put on a bit

Lady Gaga was forced to cancel tonight’s “Monster Ball” concert in West Lafayette, after falling ill and being advised to take a few days off to rest. She later explained the situation on Twitter:

“I’ve been crying for hours, I feel like I let my fans down tonight. An hour before the show, I was feeling dizzy and having trouble breathing. Paramedics came to take care of me, and told me my heart-rate was irregular — a result of exhaustion and dehydration.

Can’t apologize enough for how sorry I am. I could hear my fans cheering from my dressing room, I begged everyone to let me go onstage. My stage has complicated mechanical elements, everyone was concerned I’d be in danger during the 2-hour show, since I had passed out earlier.

I am so devastated. I have performed with the flu, a cold, strep throat: I would never cancel a show just based on discomfort. I hope you can forgive me. I love my little monsters more than anything, you are everything to me. I will make-up the performance on Jan 26.”
