Not really surprised about the Conservative win tbh, but the amount of it is astounding, considering the fact that everyone predicted that they would fell short of the required seats.

I wonder what was the sole reason this happened?

Safe choice and/or the desire to be with the winning team? SNP´s rise and Labour´s demise in Scotland? Liberal´s absolute decimation? Milliband´s personality? Desire to get a stable government with no chance of it falling, no matter what the cost?

Just to be clear i´m not on either side atm i´m just curious.

Fun fact: The same thing (Left parties falling) happened on our elections too.
