I'm watching the news now, they said the impeachment manager (or whatever) who was there for Trump's hearings is on Biden's shortlist. It'd be sweetly fitting if she got the VP pick, Biden won and kicked it soon after, and she replaced Trump

But I still get the feeling Trump's gonna win...

I'm edging that way too at this point, I have to say. Dems are looking over-confident and that cost them badly last time around, when they had a MUCH larger on-paper advantage.

I would be surprised if Trump does it tbh. A lot can change, but the last few months have been a disaster for him. He’s even starting to lose the White Female vote, which was surprisingly huge for him last time out.

Trump rape allegation: Judge refuses president's request to delay defamation suit brought by E Jean Carroll...




A New York judge has dismissed president Donald Trump’s attempt to delay a defamation lawsuit brought against him by a woman who accused him of rape.

The decision, released on Thursday, states that the presidency does not shield him from the case.

Writer E Jean Carroll is suing Mr Trump for defamation after he denied her allegations that he raped her in a New York department store in the mid-1990s and called her a liar.

The Trump legal team argues that an appeals court decision for a similar lawsuit would determine whether state courts have jurisdiction over the president while he is in office.

Such a bad faith statement, you shouldn't knowingly misquote an argument to discredit it, that's weak. Who said they have no thoughts of their own? The likes of Candace Owens do it purely for financial benefit because being a right wing commentator that's also a minority is a profitable position to have since the right wing are desperate for tokens to be like 'Look! We have a non-white/LGBT/female person agreeing with us, we aren't racist/homophobic/sexist!'

When it comes to Trump voters, they vote for him out of pure ignorance. Nothing Trump has done has benefited anyone that isn't mega rich. Yet people in the middle and working class will continue to be his main base because his racism appeals to them, because they've deluded themselves into thinking he is benefitting them when he's only eroding their quality of life but he hates mexicans and black people so it's K.

I think it's only inevitable that generations of failings under democratic presidents to really bring meaningful change or equality to black (or other minority) people in America would result in some crossing party lines and looking elsewhere, but aside from from a business perspective there's little positive change to be made there.
