It was done to try and create drama. Just like, predictably, when Marcus was sulking , she HAD to go up to him and start a discussion when it was obvious he needed to be left alone. she's in a lose lose situation,opinions on noirin as such that no matter what course of action she chose,she would be chastised for it..never the less yes she had too,for one she did not decide to go for tom,she told bea she was attracted to tom and bea told her to forget her feelings for tom and speak to both siavash and marcus..
so speaking to marcus was the right thing to do as it was a case of keeping marcus in the know...

lol truly one may need to pay more attention as siavash was asleep,noirin walked in and woke him up to speak to him that night,he offered to be there and also offered to speak to marcus.. noirin told him she would handle the situation..
