Perhaps, since Sree isn't a native. But how Karly speaks is officially recognised in the UK, so need to learn anything.

She says "ken", "nae" and all the rest not because it is incorrect English but because it is correct Scots. It is Scots. She is Scottish and that's part of her.

Anyone implying the need to 'learn' is really saying the person has difficulties, backwards and such. This is not the case. It's also subjugating into another identity.

That said I had seen the part in question, did not find it offensive and the blog seems to make more of it than it was.
