during the second world war German airmen who landed in Ireland were put in prison camps fo the rest of the War,British and American airmen and sailors were sent straight home to fight .Their are Racists everywhere even on this Forum.

Gr8 someone knows a bit of history...im just trying to shock the irish into realising their proud tolerant immigrant history..there are 4 million irish in Ireland and 50 million irish immigrants abroad...who have contributed IMMENSELY to their adoptive countries... USA.OZ..NZ..UK etc...and yet still feel it right to say anyone who immigrates to Ireland isnt irish...

Ireland is a very diverse country now my next door neighbours are polish and you will find every colour and nationality in my local area and it is all the better for it. But you always find someone who dose not like to see the New Irish get on well in life and some of them are on this forum but they do not want to let on what their real motives are so they nit pick at every minor fault

I like Noirin but I do understand that why people don't like her has NOTHING to do with her colour and she's not an immigrant anyway cos her dad is white & Irish. I hate when people start banging on about race when it's nothing to do with it!!
