You know like the footage of Bea stirring it for others we see all the time. there isnt really really anything showing Lisa saying, "david you know if you got into an arguement and taunted him to hit you, he would, you know and he would be out" |

but, I didn't suggest he do anything. I criticized him for putting on an insincere snickering laugh. What are YOU suggesting - the choices are either punch David or else by some sort of 'default' choice one should snicker and put on a fake laugh? How about Marcus just **** and be embarrassed? That would have been the appropriate response. |

Personal story here to illustrate my point.
A few years ago in school this girl wanted to fight me. I was petrified. But then I noticed this teacher in the yard. The fear left me and I knew that I could stand up to her. She also spotted the teacher and she didn't want to get into trouble. Well we didn't fight and she mostly left me alone after that. Anyway my point is that where normally I was very scarred of someone, a situation arose that gave me courage. I wasn't being malicious, at least I don't think I was, I was just making a stand in an environment where I would not get hurt. David done that to Marcus, he stood up to him in artificial setting. It really sounded like Marcus said he would "punch him out," David knew security would be there in seconds to protect him. He was more courageous than his usual self but I don't believe he was malicious, he actually seems like a really nice guy. |

I think Marcus was really vicious in his verbal attack on David, he was standing up roaring horrific insults and laughing, but his face fell as soon as David stood up to him. Go David!

Do you think David is using his lack of vocabulary and understanding to his advantage as Brian Bello did?

David called Marcus out and Marcus could not respond. Clarifying - Marcus really is insecure about being a pathetic little man. Marcus really is embarrassed about sulking for three days under a duvet in the corner. Marcus really is scared if David is not physically intimidated by Marcus fake persona. In fact Marcus retorts were just generic 'blurt out' insults of no actually hurting or personal sort. and.. as I have noted over and over again - Marcus will go into the DR and 'project'. He retells the story as if HE 'punked' David and 'called him out' and David was the one who had 'no answer', but, THAT WAS MARCUS! Quite seriously I am thinking of giving David one 'vote to save' just for that. I'm no fan of Camp Frankenstein but he did own cowardly Marcus on that one! |

I think that David definitely exaggerated the situation to cause trouble for Marcus. The irony wasn't lost on me after David had just accused Bea of making a mountain out of a molehill.
Also, it may have already been commented on but I didn't see it, but Sophie definitely caused Marcus' punishment this week and therefore contributed to the multiple nominees. Marcus made the comment about wanting to go this week and Sophie spent the next hour running round shrieking at the top of her voice that Marcus was trying to influence the nominations. Had Sophie not done that, in my opinion the comment might have been allowed to pass. Yes, poor, sweet, innocent, harmless Sophie. |

![]() OP Marcus did not need to get involved there because it wasn't his argument, but because he thinks he can do anything he likes in the house (count how many times he's broken the rules), he didn't expect retaliation - especially from David. All David did was stick up for himself, and he did well IMO. Check how Marcus's face changes when David brings up Marcus's "whinging in the corner for days" dig. I think that what happened last night was a perfect example of bullying: They all followed David and Lisa out of the kitchen, there was more than one person attacking another, and it was completely out of the blue. I blame Bea, she started it, and she keeps going on at David for not liking her because of something she "didn't say" (which if you look back she actually did on several occasions behind his back). If people have any sense the right person/people will leave tomorrow |

Well exactly? Had Siavash been the only person in trouble this week the punishment might well have been different to putting the whole house up for eviction. For example they may have put Siavash up for eviction and then made him nominate in public in future. Marcus made a comment which may or may not have been an attempt to influence (It probably was to be fair). My point, or at least my opinion is that Sophie was simply stirring the **** by running around drawing attention to Marcus' comment. It wasn't a matter of her not falling for it, it was a matter of her making a song and dance out of it. Sophie did after all make comments herself about wanting to go, as has Lisa, as have many people at various times. |
