rubbish thread
It was on the part of Big Brother. They basically removed the possibility of any of the bigger characters being evicted by putting them all up and making it a vote to save.

I think that was rather unfair on the likes of Hira, who haven't had the same opportunities to make an impression on the audience, whether that would have been good or bad.

It wasn't an even playing field to begin with and I found it ridiculous that they were even up for eviction in the first place, considering it was two people who were to blame.

Big Brother manipulated the rules to satisfy their own needs. Can't be doing that anymore cuz it plays into the hands of Marcus and Siavash and the like. The housemates will play up again if they're not careful.
bb put them all up for the $$$ not to help Bea. That was reallynow's point. BB gave the public the choice...was that a fix? lol
The vote to save thing isn't new nor is the idea of bb getting rid of boring characters. Hira was super sweet but not the least bit entertaining. Seeing this as a FIX is way off the mark. Reallynow's idea that it's a setup specifically to help Bea is bizarre

That as well...
Indeed. I think Lisa's new "fans" played a part in Hira's eviction with their attempt to get Bea out.

Oh I'm not suggesting that this was done for the sole purpose of securing Bea's position in the house; I just feel that Big Brother are asking for trouble when they carelessly manipulate the rules and reveal obvious favouritism in their pursuit of some extra dough.

I don't think so. Not what Big Brother was originally conceived as. It was about mistrust, gameplaying and a tactical battle; always aware that the eyes are on you, watching.

Big Brother should always be in the position of power but by just throwing them all up carelessly for eviction you essentially destroy the control that the producers have on the show and turn it into a silly popularity contest. Big Brothers iron fist becomes a soft little pillow.

You see, the next batch of contestants for next years programme will learn from Marcus and Siavash and act in the same manner when they believe that there's others in a more precarious position. I just think Big Brother are playing with fire here.
