I would never support someone when they specifically go out of their way to try and fcuk people over, especially vulnerable, harmless guys like David who are sensitive and not that educated or articulate. Yes and again. I am seeing it as David really doesnt seem to grasp onto her nastyness that well (not because he is an idiot but rather because it is so against his own nature) and as such keeps thinking there is a better side to her.
