"Mentioned it periodically" is overstating it a bit, isn't it? I haven't noticed it at all since everyone became housemates. And, yes, I pay attention to the eviction nights and what is said. If just one person could provide me with a when so that it could be watched and, more importantly, put into context, then I might come on board.

And I disagree with you. It would absolutely be fraud. If a person PAYS to vote to evict someone who can't be evicted (a mole), there would be so many complaints sent in that Sharon's head would spin. And it would also possibly mean that viewers would not bother to vote again if there is another season. I doubt they would do that.

In fact, I think that if there was a mole, they would let us know because part of the fun would be being in on the joke. After all, think about how horrible Bea was to the other housemates. It was painful to watch. But if we knew she was an actress hired to stir things up, it might have been a different story altogether.

And yes, I realize that a mole isn't the only interpretation of "someone not being who we think they are" but I was referring to what was discussed earlier in the thread.

If Channel 4 were encouraging people to participate in phone votes in which one or more of the candidates were employees or agents of the channel or the production team the broadcasting regulator would come down on them so hard people's careers would be over.

And it is likely that legal action would ensue.

I just do not see how they would get away with it and I see no circumstances under which they would take such a risk.
