But the question supposes that nobody take BB on and it is no more in the UK

Then they move to Plan B.

But Endemol have got Others interested

With even more Options
"Hincks suggested that the show's evolution would see it develop on the internet. "The most interesting thing about Big Brother is it's the only really convincing multiplatform idea and format in the UK," he said."

So I do not see it as Dead.

It'll just be a general forum that'll outlive Big Brother by about 2-3 years I guess, even if its picked up. No TV show will ever have the internet impact that BB did, so it will probably become less and less active until finally its gone.

It may be,
or may not - but with Internet Feed as well
for those that will not take on Sky or Virgin.

Who is to say that you will not have to pay access any website run by another company.

Anyway, this is off topic.

This thread is about this forum and what happens to it after the end of Big Brother on Channel 4.

Unless the admins decided to get rid of it; I don't think it would die a death THAT quickly. I was registered on a forum based around a series of books that ended; the forum died about a year after the books ended, but it was a very small forum dedicated to a largely unknown book series. TiBB is dedicated to Big Brother, one of the biggest TV programs of this decade, I'd give it 2 years at least before it even began to "die", if you consider the large number of users who post on here during off season, there are enough people to keep this place going for years .

I think the core members of tibb aren't huge fans of BB anymore anyway, if Tibb becomes a general TV forum then I can see it living for a few years at least. Whatever happens the admin have a year to prepare for it and if they need graphics designers and help I'm sure a fair few members would gladly contribute.

On the topic of BB living on past BB11....I wouldn't hold your breath. It's not impossible but I'd bet money on it not getting picked up.

But there will be a point when there fewer active members not replacing those who stop visiting the forum. Whether core members or not, all visiting members help with discussion and without that the core members have nothing to discuss. Eventually the core members will slowly stop coming on especially as it will just be them left on the forum in the end when they can speak elsewhere.

I think BB will be back one day but not for a good few years and probably long after TIBB is dead and buried. And by then we'll have all moved on. I give the forum 3 years maximum (from now) until it folds or becomes too expensive to run. Even with general TV it still won't be able to support the forum. BB is the only show that makes such an impact online.

I reckon it will be going a fair few years after BB ends but will be less popular, the majority of new members sign up because it is a big brother based forum, without big brother there simply wont be half the interest. The most regular users will probably start to 'leave' gradually.
