hah ah a i do not think for one minute VW needs the "publicity" and hardly from a show such as BB believe me

She is not only a cult phenominon she is one the the most respected designers on the planet!! Sex and the City movie anyone? When Carrie slips into "the dress" and its a VW!!

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm I think BB is the platform she is looking for to boost her brand!!

It is not about her brand it is about her campaign. and yes, she is media savvy enough to know EVERY channel is worth pursuing to reach a different 'audience'.

[rquote=2517870&tid=145471&author=eggdavid]
I was referring specifically to my opinion of Westwood, I'm not talking about general ones. You were acting as if I'd continue to rant about her outside of this thread. This may come as a shock to you, but Westwood's garbage campaign is of little importance to anybody, which is why she had to mention it in a letter to David for some free publicity -- this is the first I've heard of it, so it clearly isn't mentioned often in the news or whatever.

Westwood = fail. She can **** right off. [/rquote]

What's that exprssion again? Oh yes.... whatever! Her intention of bringing her campaign to your attention has been achieved. QED

For those of you who don't know who "this Vivienne Westwood" is...she and Malcolm McLaren literally invented the punk movement. Pretty massive in terms of fashion and music.

[rquote=2517916&tid=145471&author=eggdavid]Hmm, I wonder why Long Run suddenly stopped responding. Maybe he realized that Westwood scrounging some free publicity by trying to bring a shitty campaign to the attention of the Big Brother viewers when most of them are 13-year-old alcopop-drinking idiots was about as transparent as Casper the Friendly Ghost.

QED, son.[/rquote]

As your beloved wolfman would say that is THE Long Run! I just popped out to deliver some campaign leaflets to promote sustainable living. The Gaia movement is growing in significance.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! Apparently, she's some fashion designer who blabs on about some rubbish campaign of hers when she isn't getting mentioned that week.

The outfit David was wearing that had a ****ing seatbelt hanging off it was made by her, apparently. [/rquote]

YOu are so full of nonsense - I think you may find she is mentioned in many ways, and i hardly think she would be that desperate for a letter to be read out in BB

Her campaign is fully covered in the media and is but one strand of a global movement to call for responsible living.
There are vested interests in the energy sector using propaganda to resist this wise initiative. Her letter to David is an opportunity to do something nice for a nice guy and simultaneously draw attention to the campaign. I hope there will be some associated coverage on BBLB and HL show to get appropriate wider penetration.

HAHAHAHAHAHA! Yeah, Vivienne Westwood really needs to write a letter to Big Brother to get publicity.

She is a very famous fashion designer. VERY famous... as in famous enough that her clothing is in some of the top museum fashion collections of the world.

Some of you should really read more. Or get out more. Or turn off the tv and computer and experience the world around you. (This is not directed at everyone, obviously)

The purpose of the card is to advertise her latest political campaign. The majority of the message was about "Active resistance against propaganda."

Maybe she just likes him as a person, honest, reliable ,hardworking. In my opinion he is the most deserving of the title winner.
