Brilliant Video![/rquote]

Love that too! The Cure one where they are in the wardrobe, what is it again? Close to me.

Also any video by the Foo Fighters or Tenacious D, they are very funny people, and Blink 182! Love their video's too.

[/rquote]

Yep, I remember it and Sledgehammer so vividly as a child. Think Thriller has to be up there too along with them.[/rquote]

I remember sitting up until after 12 to watch thriller on MTVUS, the presenter was Vincent Hanley, who died years later of AIDS. Brilliant show and without it I would never had heard any american music! [/rquote]

That A-ha video was so effective and it still holds up today. I found it quite sad and moving as a kid lol. Trying to think of other old classic ones.[/rquote]

At the time I thought what utter rubbish. Why all the cr*p drawings with pencils?

I still think that to be honest.[/rquote]

It was great. So creative and one that I always remember from childhood.[/rquote]

Yeah I loved the song. Was too young to understand the story too. I couldn't understand why he was all frustrated in the song and why those geezers were chasing after him because they looked wimpy.

There's a funny parody of it on Youtube

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8HE9OQ4FnkQ[/rquote]

Ah, it's too easy to rip the p"ss outta old videos and sure we're not the target audience at this stage, but that one was very well thought out and excuted, even if it's a cheesfest. Funny clip though.

Watched the Rick Astley one (funny) and saw another class video that ruffled a few feathers at the time which always adds to the power of it- Losing My Religion. Good track and interesting vid.

My favourite is Triumph of the Heart where she has a cat for a husband.
Then there is Cocoon where she's Naked, Army of Me, Human Nature, Joga, Oceania, and Hidden Place where there's just goo coming out of her eyes and back into her mouth just to name a few.
But stupid Youtube has taken the audio of most of her videos!
I'm disgusted!

Some good music in that film. The song at the beginning by Echo and the Bunnymen.

While you're talking about Bjork, is there anyone here who, like me, is transfixed by Kate Bush? Something hypnotic about her in some of her videos. Probably helps that I think the woman is crazy attractive.... am I a weirdo? lol

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ot3cVY1JESQ She's quirky and sensual and was a huge influence on people like Bjork and Tori Amos, among others.

Yeah Kate liked to refer back to some literary reference. Wuthering Heights for instance.

Running up that Hill is awesome.
