I have not even heard of her.. but on first impressions she looks like she would bring entertainment.. however I hope it is not just a "front" like mutya from last year came over as someone with an attitude and all that.. but she was boring as **** and then left big brother!!

I seem to remember her running off stage during gigs in the US. I think it all got a bit much for her.

She had a fairly successful hit earlier in the year with 'So Human', which sampled The Cure's 'Close To Me'. From what I can see she's a very out there character, and would be good for the show.

Its true about the "not selling any records", i guess she wants to sell records and this will do it for her if she goes in.

IMO though, she is better suited for the USA because right now in the UK theres too much going on with artists such as the BEP, Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Pixie Lott and all the XF lot that are dominating the entire Top 40.
In the US i think theres more space for her, i reckon she should do what MIA did, a british artist who made it huge in the US, over here some people would say "Who is she?", shes very popular in the US.

It's great because CBB always has one or two American Celebrities who have absolutely no idea who any of the British Celebrities are.. not even ones you think of as 'household names' and you even thought were famous in the USA (where absolutely nobody ever heard of them)
but,
these kind of 'Celebrities' are great because while the Americans won't know who the hell Katie Price or Dani Minogue are - they in turn will have no idea who 'Lady Sovereign' is.
I have no idea why that slightly amused me but great. Bring it on.

There is a hell of a broader spectrum going on in music other than the main "top 40". A lot of artists can succeed in the UK without getting in the top 10 with all of their releases. Some of these artists have a core fanbase and can do quite well for themselves otherwise we would not have such a vast array of musicians making singles/albums etc.

OMG

I love her! I have her albums (which are brilliant imo) and seen her live and everything! She's actually very successful on the underground scene and has been signed to Def Jam, a MAJOR deal in the states (first British female artist to be so I believe?)

It's a shame people haven't really heard of her apart from Nine2Five with TOBs, her song "Love Me Or Hate Me" was quite successful I believe...

At least she isn't a "has-been" as she's still on the scene, I'm really excited now!
