It's so funny how unprepared we all are when it comes to snow, isn't it? I mean other countries can get on with it but we grind to a halt when there's a flake on the ground here.

I was watching that this morning. It's very unusual for Blackpool to get snow at all though..isn't it..

I live 5 mins away from the coast (in Edinburgh) and we usually don't get too much snow because of that... oh how things can change!

A foot of snow which thick ice underneath. Buses cancelled or running at 20mph. Our car isn't able to get out of the drive way either.

It's like a ghost town!
