I didnt say you were, I just think it would be mental to even film that scene in that context considering what the films all about it, and its not on the deleted scenes

I know, would take away the whole point of the story.

It's not half as disturbing as Romper Stomper.

Not a fan of American History X personally. Far too didactic and preachy and features overfamiliar characters and situations. Plus I find Eddie Furlong is never any good in anything.

Yep, I'd agree that it's fairly heavy handed in it's approach to the material and the only fully formed individual we get to see is Norton, but sure that's good enough for me when it's an actor of his caliber. It's his performance alone that elevates the whole thing.

Yeah, it's frustrating when the star upstages his own movie. It's good that Norton still seems to put his all into his performances these days. It seems Romper Stomper star Russell Crowe's last decent performance was in LA Confidential. His acting has gotten more and more mannered over the years.

He might be a bit of a tit in real life, but I have nothing bad to say about Crowe with regard to his acting. I've watched him in many films and he always has such masterful control and intensity in every single performance. His acting in flicks like The Insider and 3:10 to Yuma is sublime.

I'm not a fan of Russell Crow's films really, something about him irks me I can't fault his acting though.

Just watched it for the first time and it's amazing.
Really sad though, the ending had me in tears but I loved it.

American History X is the one thing I can tolerate Edward Furlong in. I thought he was quiet good in the role.

His performance as The Crow will forever haunt me. Funniest. Film. Ever.

If I recall correctly, a psychedelic David Boreanez burries him in a fridge. A fridge.

Haha, I've never heard of this before. He must have finally kicked his hard drug habit.

2.7/10 on IMDB... I must see this movie.
