Only Fools had a live audience. The shows were a combination of live stage performances, and then the entire played before a live audience whose laughter was recorded.

I don't object to editing for the sake of time, and there has always been editing.

This series has been so dull and lacking in events and hl's, it has needed gravy to make it taste alright, or edible.

Again, even though it's for a meaningless 40 seconds of the show? And that means they have a lack of footage?

I don't know, was it only 40 seconds.

They've never had to tart things up before, and they've produced better hl programmes.

You know when you have a rum meal, or you gotta eat your shoe, like Chalie Chaplin, you need lots of salt and pepper.

This series is like an old shoe.

I think we're going to see more of this tarting-up/canned laughter type of **** when Sky take over.

An awful lot of the posters on here haven't got a lot between their ears, and they're going to love it.
