The majority of mainstream artists use digital voice enhancement. Those points may be true, but that doesn't mean they're not going to chart higher than Leona. When it comes to mainsteam music, the average buyer (young teen) doesn't think 'well JLS use a voice changer so I'm not buying it lulz'...

It's all about marketing ploys.

which pop artist doesn't mime? it's because they usually be given a dance routine. mimed vocals + dance routine = better effect.
