Media is always good Laura. I think you'd suit that and it would keep you interested.

Maybe Grey's Anatomy encouraged you to go into the medical profession

And yep Laura, you and Media would be a good match

My cousin is a qualified nurse now, works in the biggest hospital in Wales. She said it was so tough, 3 years of essays, placements. She's so glad she stuck to it though because she's where she wanted to be now. (I went with her for her job interview, so I take full credit... hehe) No, but it isn't for everyone and like with alot of things, try it out if it doesn't work, move on. I do think though you should look into Media, Sociology and stuff like that. Good luck with it all though, whatever you decide.

I think for nursing you have to really want to do it. And for me,it was a case of my CAO(our UCAS) is due in soon,I better put something down, which was really stupid. But anyways,no regrets! Aww thanks Ross

It's okay. If I was not working full-time, I'd have liked to have done Media in College and then onto Uni. I'm happy now being a Team Leader at work, I mean I'm in charge of the Dairy, Meat and Poultry section which takes the most money in the store. Alot of responsibility falls into my hands and I've passed my manager interview which a high percentage, so within a matter of months (depending on how I drive myself) I'll hopefully have a manager's role soon, which comes with more responsibility and ofcourse, bigger pay. I'm excited.

Cheers.
I do try, it seems to all be paying off now. The retail industry though is so tough, we rely on customers and ofcourse, the customer is always right.

Think I've finally settled on an Arts course consisting of English,Lingiustics and Pyschology. I don't have enough points for most of the Journalism courses and this seems like a broad enough course that I won't be honing in on anything too soon but I might figure out what I want to do and this will help me get into journalism. Plus it seems like would be quite interesting.
